The Grand Marlin Restaurant features a main dining area with a shucked to order oyster bar, exterior North Drop Bar overlooking the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound, and private meeting rooms. This Pensacola Beach restaurant, with an air of island casualness, serves the highest-quality cuisine, including the freshest local seafood featured on menus designed and printed daily to take advantage of the local bounty. The atmosphere creates a fusion of the Caribbean and the Pensacola Bay Area. Executive Chef Gregg McCarthy has a passion for great-tasting food and particularly loves working his culinary magic with fresh Gulf Coast seafood. Boaters and beach-goers feel comfortable in shorts and flip-flops at the oyster bar, in the dining room and at the North Drop Bar. The Grand Marlin has a space and atmosphere for all occasions and is looking forward to creating an authentic experience between time and tide.

The Grand Marlin is a relatively upscale restaurant in Pensacola beach. It has a lot of your typical seafood options including oysters in a very elegant setting with excellent service. This comes at a price as the entrees are more expensive than what you may find at others close by but in my opinion, it is definitely worth it. If... More

This is a great place to eat with an amazing open atmosphere. I had various oysters which were all wonderful. I also recommend the scallops with an addition of shrimp.

Grand Marlin from a food perspective was the highlight of our week stay at Pensacola Beach, FL......The seafood was fresh, excellent service and nice décor. As one whom prefers to not eat at "tourist" traps I was a little skeptical but I'm very glad we went. The menu changes daily so any recommendation would not necessarily mean it is available... More

Had supper at 6 pm with wife and 2 adolescent children. Seated next to window overlooking bay where we watched Dolphins. Service prompt and courteous. Good wine service. Orders came out very fast, maybe a little too fast? Enjoyed lobster fingers appetizer. Oysters Bienville were ok in quality, generous in portion. My daughter enjoyed lobster tail that was well prepared.... More

The Grand Marlin was a dining experience from start to finish. Options of dining inside or outside help keep the wait manageable. Great drink menu...but for the blue cheese lover, the blue angel chips are a MUST HAVE! The fresh fish and crab cakes were great. Service was prompt and quality. Ambience was casual plus. It is worth a stop... More

We wanted something a bit upscale from the other family fish and crab joints at Pensacola, and Grand Marlin fit the bill. We waited about 20 minutes for a table at peek 7 pm dining time, but we did enjoy the food and the atmosphere even if the place was the noisiest upscale place we had ever seen. While waiting... I heard so many wonderful things about this place that we decided to try it when we were in the area. I was very disappointed. Our waitress was not friendly and seemed put out by some questions I had about the menu. The food was average. I don't normally drink pina colada but it is the beach so decided to... More

We last visited this place five years ago, shortly after they first opened. We eagerly awaited our return. They quality of the "Marlin" was still as good as five years ago. I was however slightly disappointed in the limited selection of fresh fish that were available. Only approximately four fresh species of fish were available in addition to shrimp, scallops... More

Very consistent good food. We had fried shrimp tonight and it was good. Large meaty shrimp with good flavor. The praline dessert with fresh fruit, ice cream and caramel syrup is worth the trip!
