Good food in the park

We had lunch while touring. Taco Bar includes their complete soup & salad bar - it wasn't cheap at about $14, but it was very good. My husband had fish & chips and liked them very much. Nice view from the dining room. We liked it better than getting something at the snack bar downstairs.

I didn't expect much from a park-run restaurant but the service was excellent. I had just drained the last of the lemonade from my glass when 2 seconds later a server placed another glass of lemonade on the table for me. Prices were quite reasonable and our food was delicious. My son's kids' meal of fish and chips was great.... More

Ate breakfast 3 days in a row during our stay as part of the special package offered to include breakfast at a lower price. On the first day, the waiter carefully told us to keep our tickets and then at the end presented a leather case bill and let us know that the breakfasts were covered by the tickets but... More

We came here for lunch after hiking in gorgeous Zion Park. It was too cold to sit outside, but I'm sure that would be nice most of the year. We were impressed with the generous portions and good range of selections. I was prepared to feel ripped off since they sort of have a captive audience inside the park.....but the... More

Located upstairs in the main Zion Lodge(Xanterra), you will find this spacious corporate restaurant. We were guests in a Western Cabin, and knowing the area, this was the only dining option unless you travelled back down to Springdale. Spacious means plenty of elbow room and room to slide your chairs. Decor was a wooden log western type with light hues.... More

While in Zion's National Park we stopped at the Zion's Park Lodge for lunch. They have a sit down restaurant on the second floor of the lodge. This restaurant has a large selection of food items, and a salad bar. While there this time, we had fish and chips. They were very good. The restaurant has both inside and outside... More

It is lovely to sit out on the deck of this dining room on a sunny afternoon, however our food was barely warm, and our server was just not around. Unfortunately we had the same server for breakfast the next morning and his service was non-existent. We were not aware that our full breakfast rate only included the buffet. We... More

The view from the restaurant -- particularly the patio is amazing. The service was also to be commended. The food was OK -- nothing great but nothing bad either. If I find myself in Zion National Park again, I would not hesitate to have a meal at the Lodge.

We decided to eat at the dining room in the lodge since we were in the park at dinner time. We weren't that hungry, so we just had soup: white chicken chili and butternut squash soup--both of which were very good. The accompanying rolls were warm and tasty. If we had been hungrier, we would have had either the salad... More

We were staying in Zion Lodge cabin room for 2 nights so ate breakfast and evening meals here both days. Service for both breakfast and dinner was pretty quick and welcoming, you'll probably need to book for evening meals at busier times but for our winter trip that didn't really seem necessary. Breakfasts are included in price of the room... More
