Good food for lodge guests; spotty service

We stayed at the lodge and had one dinner and two breakfasts in the dining room, where huge windows look out onto the grounds. Eat at the grill upstairs vs the fast food next to gift shop. Reasonable prices and great food. We had salmon burgers, taco salad bar and soup, and the best coffee. Also good view while we ate.

We stayed at the lodge for a couple of nights so ate several meals in the dining room. The food was very good; nothing super special but everything was prepared and presented nicely. The service was very good too. Over all a very good experience.

We were too lazy to muster up lunch for our day trip to Zion National Park. Best decision ever to eat here. Get out of the line for fast food and spend a little bit more to eat warm, delicious food in a spectacular setting. It was a perfect day for sitting outside under a patio umbrella. We expected to... I had hoped for a more upscale experience. The breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet were both good, tasty, plentiful. But basically acceptable, the type of food served when serving large numbers of diners. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cost was less than $20 per person.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such quality food in large proportions at affordable prices inside the park. Visitors to the Zion region will quickly notice that food is pricier than you see outside of the park surroundings. However, $14 for the ample taco bar with soup & salad was reasonable. My wife raved about the bison burger, although it... More

when I asked my son what he liked best about our vacation, he said it was the food here. Go figure. My other don tried bison for the first time and loved it. The experience was good, the staff friendly and attentive and for having captive customers, the prices were reasonable.

We had lunch while touring. Taco Bar includes their complete soup & salad bar - it wasn't cheap at about $14, but it was very good. My husband had fish & chips and liked them very much. Nice view from the dining room. We liked it better than getting something at the snack bar downstairs.

I didn't expect much from a park-run restaurant but the service was excellent. I had just drained the last of the lemonade from my glass when 2 seconds later a server placed another glass of lemonade on the table for me. Prices were quite reasonable and our food was delicious. My son's kids' meal of fish and chips was great.... More

Ate breakfast 3 days in a row during our stay as part of the special package offered to include breakfast at a lower price. On the first day, the waiter carefully told us to keep our tickets and then at the end presented a leather case bill and let us know that the breakfasts were covered by the tickets but... More
