I can't really brag about the food, although both the salad bar and taco bar were decent. I would recommend staying with those. I had a Mahi special that was underwhelming and the burgers were overcooked (they were less dead, although still "well", when ordered medium rare.) But. . .you're in paradise. With huge windows looking out into paradise. So... More

We had dinner here, Nice $10.50 soup and salad bar. Will eat here again. Why leave the park for a meal?

I believe this place is the same place that is called red rock grill. It is upstairs at zion park lodge. We had several meals at the lodge restaurant. Limited options but the food and service were both good for national park standards. The setting is incredible. Large windows that let you look out at zion. We split our meals... More

This was our third visit for lunch and we were very pleased. We sat outside on the upper deck and it was just gorgeous. The food is very good, we always order off the menu. There is a taco bar which looked good but we have never tried it. Nice stop before or after a hike.

We ate here three times: once for dinner and two more times for breakfast. After my dinner experience, I wouldn't have returned but the breakfasts were included with the room. The servers were terrible...perhaps they would be happier somewhere else. Dinner was mediocre. I had the salmon and it was dry but the location is so good and the atmosphere... More

We love the atmosphere of national park lodges. Food here is great with a separate kids menu. Service is lacking only because the servers have to cover too many tables, and some of the seasonal staff lack training/experience. Worth going for dinner for the ambience and food and the views, just don't be in a hurry!

We enjoyed a first class meal with very good service from our young but very accomplished server. Make sure you do sit near a window to continue to take in the unbelievable scenery during your dinner. Suggest you make a booking during the busy summer months.

I was expecting quite a bit more based on the price and the way the restaurant is presented on the website. It could have been better, but it wasn't bad. The kids meals were actually better than the adult meals. I had a blt with sweet potato fries. The fries were ok, nothing special, but the blue cheese dressing I... More

Visited in January so it was very quiet (this was our plan). Truly stunning views through the giant windows. Service was a bit slow but very good-- very nice staff. Had some great soup and sandwiches, and was told that the dinner choices are actually quite good. Xanterra (the NPS concessionaire) as really dialed up their quality in recent years.... More

Based on prior Park meals I didnt go in with high expectations but was pleasantly surprised as both dinner and the breakfast buffet including the thick cut Applewood bacon were excellent . We had the pork chop with good mashed potatoes and a Southwestern salad - both very good Most of the year the outdoor deck is as beautiful a... More
