It's the only place around. We were advised to eat early or it'd be crowded. For supper we split a mediocre burger but very delicious garlic fries. The fries were coated with the best garlic sauce we've had -- not harsh, just good and garlicky. And in the morning for $12.95 you can get a decent breakfast from a fairly... More

It does the job. We wanted to have someplace for a hot meal at dinner that we didn't have to prepare ourselves - they provided exactly that. It took a fair amount of time to be seated when we arrived at 7P because it seems most of the other people in the area had the same idea. The food was... More

If you're staying in the cabins or The John Muir Lodge (as we were), your choice of eating out is The Grant Grove Restaurant or...........there isn't an "or", unless you want a long drive. So a fairly captive market. Dinner first; the food was OK. No more, no less. But the staff seemed a "bit all over the place". Maybe... More

The restaurant has a limited menu, but all the food available is high quality and very delicious. Breakfast buffet is good and very convenient with a nice selection. The servers were very nice and pleasant.

This restaurant had some of the worst food I had ever eaten. We had three meals here as we were staying a cabin. **Lunch - dry burger buns, vege burger like cardboard, the fruit was not fresh and there was a fly on it, I complained to the waitress and we were not charged. **Dinner, mine was OK, my husband... We only ate breakfast there, but it was expensive. There were lots of options but all taste pretty bad. Kind of like cafeteria food.

This restaurant offers food in the Grant Grove area. The service is poor at best and expect to wait to be seated (even though there is plenty of seating available) and you will need to flag down the waitress for any drink refills or to add anything to your order. In addition, the menu is a set menu and sometimes... More

Clean, friendly service. Great desserts, and good home cooking. They could offer a bigger selection of food items for lunch and dinner. Great wine and beer stock. The do need to improve their homemade soups ;).

Best place we ate in the Yellowstone/Sequoia are! Prices were very reasonable as well. Helpful waitstaff and fresh, fresh food and pie to wrap it all up!

My husband and I had lunch there on our one day trip to see Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. He ordered the club which he thought was below average in quality. I had the grilled macaroni and cheese which was pretty tasty, but likely a heart bomb. However, there was very little on the menu that looked appealing so... More
