Good service and food

A bit pricey but they had a long way to bring in food and servers. We had a special 3 course meal which included 1/2 chicken, salad and choice of dessert. Continental breakfast was good for $8. Get a window table. Reservations are required.

We stopped to look at this area and checked out the lodge. It looked so good we decided to come back for lunch which was very good. Quite and great service. I would recommend The Peaks to anyone who likes good food and a great place to enjoy it.

Located inside the Wuksachi Lodge is the Peak's Restaurant. You will walk through the lobby and bar area and then enter the restaurant. The menu offers sandwiches, steaks and even a great chef salad. Prices are $10.50 on up for entree's etc. The bar serves full service drinks. Service was great!

Dinner reservations ARE required. You can sit in the bar area if seats are available, but I wouldn't depend on getting a table there. We ordered to go. The food was OK. Our salad was missing the dressing. The linguine was fair and the quesadilla was ok. If you order to go you have a limited menu. We paid about... More

Liked having a decent place to eat and be waited on right in the hotel. We also had a breakfast voucher as part of our room deal.

This is not a restaurant that is down the street and on the corner. From Three Rivers, it is about 20 miles up in the park. The road is very well maintained, but it is not a straight shot, but many

This is a well appointed dining room with a varied menu. The staff member who escorted us to our table was dressed in a Tux but wearing brown gym or sport shoes. Hey, it is probably a summer time job and who needs black shoes for work? My four star rating considers the location of the restaurant I have had... More

After a long day exploring the National Park, it was a relaxing treat to eat here. Be sure to make reservations for dinner beforehand. There are a few vegetarian options too and they are decent. A little overpriced but still worth it.

This restaurant's ambience was really a step up from the restaurant associated with the John Muir Lodge in King's Canyon, a short distance away (see my review). They have chef-prepared entrees, and a much move luxurious dining room than the Muir. A window table here looks out to the forest and is quite pleasant. The high ceilings and nice decor... More

Great food and good-sized portions. Oddly out of several staples when we visited, like French fries.
