The Lodge and the Restaurant are both exceptionally convenient stopping places for Sequoia National Park. If you want a relaxing sit down meal experience, this is about your only option. It is not a bad place to stop in terms of quality, price or selection, but it is nothing to write home about, either. It IS very comfortable and you... More

We enjoyed our lunch here during our visit to Sequoia National Park. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. I would recommend eating here during your visit.

This restaurant is ranked number 1 in Sequoia because it's really got a monopoly; if one stays at Wuksachi, the only other choice is a small very limited grill at the Lodgepole campground a ten minute drive away. Breakfasts at The Peaks are buffet, with a choice of full or continental. The continental breakfast includes excellent steel cut oatmeal, along... More

Sequoia National Park is a must. It is a natural wonder with old trees (I mean, really old trees) and really big trees (I mean, really big trees), and great hiking (like Moro Rock). While traveling through the park, my wife and I stopped at the Peak restaurant at the Wuksachi Lodge. What a great place to eat. Great food,... More

Great restaurant. The Chef produces some amazing meals at this secluded location. Specials for dinner everyday; and any of the soups are super, but Potato was my favorite. Desserts are not to be missed either. Make reservations for dinner in advance of arrival. Every table has a good view of the woods/mountains.

We stayed at the lodge the weekend of March 23rd and I had made reservation for the Saturday and Sunday nights at the restaurant as it is the only place to eat at this time of year. The restaurant was quite busy as it was spring break but we got seated around the time of our reservation and out server... More

We arrived and were initially pleased with reception and our room. We booked dinner for 6.45, basically service was poor, staff were undertrained and we waited 50 minutes for a fish dish an a penne pasta dish, supposedly braised beef. The beef was very tough and I doubt it had been braised to tenderise it. We also did not want... More

Within walking distance from the Wuksachi Lodge, this is pretty much the dinner option at night in this part of the park (unless you are able to go the BBQ during the summer months). And the prices reflect this, with most entrees being $20+. The service was marginal. With that being said, the food was very good; the flavor pairings... More

Early spring is the time to go on this trip! Still a bit of snow on the ground, but is was not too cold. Just cold enough for some of their delicious potato soup and a hot cup of apple cider for lunch. Could have done without the roast beef sandwich...too fatty!

The food is somewhat above average but the service is poor. I'm not sure if they are understaffed. What should have been about an hourlong meal two nights in a row took over an hour and a half. Too long to take orders, too long to deliver food and much much too long to bring the check.
