Lots of trinkets and good snacks

Good stopping point on the road for bathrooms, snacks and souvenirs. They have a coffee shop plus hot dogs, pretzels and other sandwiches and tables with views overlooking the mountains.

Over many years, we always stop at the top for warming drinks & view the valley looking down the old Fall River Road. Kids wold get hot chocolate, now grown, we get the various specialty coffees.

This is definitely a good stop to make when going over the pass. The only reason it is four stars instead of five is the limited (and somewhat unhealthy) choices, but it is understandable, given the location. The views are wonderful. It feels like you are on top of the world. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are many windows... More

This is a nice place to stop and stretch your legs after a very scenic ride. The restaurant is cafeteria style but the food is pretty good. The chili is flavorful and a good size serving for the price. The best seats are by the window.

The food was good. The views were excellent. All the people are very friendly. You just have to go and eat there if nothing else but to say you did.

By the time you get to this snack bar, you are probably ready for a break! I visited with my 8 yr old daughter after driving up Trail Ridge Road from Estes Park in June. The weather was warm and sunny, but there was still some snow and many people taking pictures in the snow (both at the snack shop... More

Eating at 12,000+ feet is always fun! The weather changes by the minute, and the view is incredible! The options are limited (it's hard to get food up that high!) but it's always hot, the service is good, and it's nice to sit down for a while and enjoy the scenery. The gift shop always has fun things to look... More

for a snack bar by the side of a high mountain road. Very friendly service; limited but tasty options (soup, bbq sandwiches, etc.) Incredible views. Definitely a good option while traveling through RMNP. And the store is great, too.

It's a long drive to get there but once you're up there you can grab a bite to eat and stay for awhile and enjoy the scenery. Coming from Nebraska I'm usually sucking wind climbing up the trails but it's al worth it.

We stopped here the first day and my husband had a sausage and sauerkraut sandwich and I had the smoked BBQ chicken sandwich... YUMM! The bun was fresh and the chicken piled mile high and delish. So much so that we stopped the following day just for another chicken sandwich... it was after 5:00 and it looked like it was... More
