Lovely view, nice lunch

While driving through Olympic NP, we stopped here for lunch and had a very nice experience. Louis, our waiter, could not have been more gracious and attentive. The prime rib soup and the white bean/chorizo leek stew were both very flavorful, as was the marionberry compote. We have stayed/eaten in... read more

We stopped in for breakfast - around 10-ish - and had to wait quite a while to first get noticed and then have a table readied (there were only a few other patrons at the time). We ordered a crab cake benny and bacon and eggs. The crab cakes were wonderful and full of crab ... but one of the... More

Spent 2 nights. Actually enjoyed not having internet (except in the lodge) or television, but the lack of either good or reasonably priced food was unacceptable. The first night we were stuck because since check in isn't til 4 pm it was late when we arrived and believe me there is nothing in the neighborhood. For dinner we ordered clam... More

We wandered around the lodge and grounds before dinner. Idyllic, canoes at the water's edge, children and families enjoying the August afternoon. Dinner was good, nothing disappointed. We enjoyed speaking with a couple waiters who were, in fact, park workers for the summer and the restaurant was the assignment they received. They live on property during the summer. Enjoyable evening... More

We felt that this restaurant was overprized! Especially if your travelling with a family. I would suggest stopping at a grocery store before you travel, and pack picnic lunches, etc.; it will likely save you a couple hundred dollars!

A visiting friend of our was our guest at the lodge today. The food was as usual very good and pleasantly served. The afternoon sunny lake made a perfect to a beautiful day. As the lodge is celebrating its 100th anniversary it was especially enjoyable. We are looking forward to more days at the lodge and good dining at the... More

As a tradition we returned to the Lodge and enjoyed a festive and delicious Christmas Eve Buffet. The selections were varied from salmon to prime roast with plenty of fresh salad, fruit and cheeses. Also there were several dessert items. We did not take advantage of the Christmas morning buffet but we did view the selections and it looked very... More

We were traveling with two children and the menu had something for every one. We ate there two nights in a row because the children wanted to try the desserts they had missed the prior night.
