We had few options in Ashford because we were there mid-week so Highlander it was. The restaurant was very clean and had been recently spiffed up, with new booths, paint job and light fixtures. For a picky low fat eater, options were limited-but there. (I would have appreciated a whole wheat bun for my veggie burger!) Tuesday Taco nite was... More

We had their soft serve ice cream on multiple occasions. They have more than 30 flavors.Every single time it was a highly satisfactory experience especially after a long hike.

This used to be one of our favorite places for a burger and a drink; this time the service was terrible - one day we went in and waited 5 minutes and were never acknowledged by anyone. Won't be going back.

We ate here one night as places to eat are limited. The food was basic, but cheap and good value for money. The waitress was a bit unsure but she was nice enough. The wine was cheap, and we would return here and recommend it for its value.

The food here is very basic bar food. The waitress was pleasant but very confused. The background noise was provided by drunken locals shouting at the bar.

Great homemade, country cooking at a reasonable price. Had navy bean and ham soup that warmed us up. Has a small bar inside and tvs. Larger portions. Family friendly. Service was not slow, and the cook came out to meet us. Nice touch.

Location is close to Mt Rainier. Not much competition in the area. Service was ok, food was ok. It seemed almost everything on the menu was fried. Definitely a local place.

The food was good, the proximity was better. We were on our way through the national park. And if you drive from west to east, it is a long haul. To find the open restaurant was wonderful. The special was very good. We were able to buy picnic lunches for hiking in the park on several occasions. It is about... More

We enjoyed the food - not fancy but good and filling. The service was very slow. Maybe we didn't look hungry enough? Overall fine but not our favorite place that we eat on vacation.

I like everything they offered!! We went there for dinner twice during our stay in Ashford WA. The first night was very late (passed 9pm) so they stopped offering regular dinner menu but the sandwiches menu is excellent! We got our chance to try their regular dinner menu the next night. The steak, salmon, lentil soup was out of this... More
