After a hike on the mountain I wanted had a strange urge for a piece of pie. Actually turned around after seeing the sign for homemade pie! This was the most disappointing meal I've ever had. After waiting 30 min. to get my meal it was cold and bland. The pie on the other hand SUCKED. This tasted like the... More

We enjoyed an delicious lunch and excellent, attentive service. The view from the front porch was spectacular.

The food was OK and the service was good. The restaurant itself was in very bad shape. There are few places to eat in Ashford.

Passed the restaurant on our way to our B & B for the evening and decided to stop and have late lunch/early diner. Service was very friendly, atmosphere and food was good. All in all had a great time.

We had few options in Ashford because we were there mid-week so Highlander it was. The restaurant was very clean and had been recently spiffed up, with new booths, paint job and light fixtures. For a picky low fat eater, options were limited-but there. (I would have appreciated a whole wheat bun for my veggie burger!) Tuesday Taco nite was... More

We had their soft serve ice cream on multiple occasions. They have more than 30 flavors.Every single time it was a highly satisfactory experience especially after a long hike.

This used to be one of our favorite places for a burger and a drink; this time the service was terrible - one day we went in and waited 5 minutes and were never acknowledged by anyone. Won't be going back.

We ate here one night as places to eat are limited. The food was basic, but cheap and good value for money. The waitress was a bit unsure but she was nice enough. The wine was cheap, and we would return here and recommend it for its value.

The food here is very basic bar food. The waitress was pleasant but very confused. The background noise was provided by drunken locals shouting at the bar.

Great homemade, country cooking at a reasonable price. Had navy bean and ham soup that warmed us up. Has a small bar inside and tvs. Larger portions. Family friendly. Service was not slow, and the cook came out to meet us. Nice touch.
