We were on our way down to Jackson and stopped at the Jackson Lake Lodge to take in the views. The Mural Room was already closed for lunch, so we ate in this cute little diner style restaurant. The food and service were excellent! Our waiter was very attentive and enjoyed talking to customers, asking them where they were from,... More

This is a fun place to eat breakfast. The entire restaurant is a long counter seating probably 40+ people. We like it enough to eat breakfast there two mornings in a row before hitting the trails. FYI, even if you don't come eat here, come to check out the view. The view from the lobby of this hotel has to... More

Best ever southern fried chicken simple and crispy. This morning home made corned beef hash - real good. The waitress Karen was so friendly and helpful what you imagine having watched loads of american movies!

The best part of my lunch was being able to order a Caesar salad from the take out window and eat it on the deck overlooking Willow Flats and the Tetons. But the romaine used in the salad was NOT fresh; although, the dressing was very good as was the amount of grated cheese and croutons. I should have returned... More

Diner stools really close together. Food is mediocre. Lots of it but not that great. Service is excellent and prices fair

The kitchen messed up our order and the waitress was unapologetic. The fried chicken was like shoe leather and I was unsure if my chicken salad sandwich was chicken or tuna. The atmosphere was cool but boy the food and service really missed the mark! The tension between the waitstaff, the kitchen and the management was detectable as you walked... More

For those of us who remember drugstore soda fountains that usually served the best lunch in town, this is the place. A wide-ranging set of choices on the menu -- they do a very, very good job on their soups -- served by a waitstaff that cares about its customers. The lodge gets lots of people passing through on tour... More

Loved the old long counters of this diner-type restaurant. Pricey, but delicious food... old-fashioned items on the menu. Delicious bison burgers and fries! People around us had some yummy looking milkshakes. Excellent service and fun atmosphere.

So what fun was this? An old fashioned counter (the longest running counter in the country) with great family food that was more than reasonably priced and desserts that EVERYONE can enjoy...literally...get spoons for everyone - they are that large. Service was fabulous with young smiling friendly kids who took the time to converse with you. What a great find.... More
