We had dinner at the Bright Angel Restaurant as part of our visit to the South Rim. Since we were staying at the Bright Angel Lodge, we appreciated the restaurant's convenient location. The staff members were friendly and efficient, but other than that, the experience was disappointing. The décor was dated, the walls and flooring had a beat up appearance,... More

We had lunch here while at the park. We had the vegetarian chili, which came in a bread bowl. It was very good. We also shared a fruit plate, which came with banana bread and yogurt. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. This lunch was much better than the cafeteria style lunch we had near the Market Village. Our... More

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. Get there around 6.30 and you can get a table without queuing. Choice for everyone and good portion sizes not too big.

In our stay of severe days at the Grand Canyon we had breakfast most days at the Bright Angel Restaurant. It was an excellent breakfast at a good price. Service was fine. However, we made the big mistake of going there one night for dinner. I ordered the prime rib, which was $27 - not cheap! I asked the server... More

We were planning to do a 14 mile hike in the Grand Canyon the next day and decided to have a good pre-hike meal. I was surprised that it was not too crowded especially with all the visitors that were at the South Rim. Our waitress was very good in taking our orders and making sure that our water and... More

We came here for breakfast and sat by the window but didn't get much of a view to the rim. My husband and i ordered fried eggs for breakfast. The food was average but nothing more. The service was good and the girls were very friendly. The location is very convenient if you're heading to the Bright Angel trail.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quick seating at lunch on a very busy Labor Day weekend. The prices were very reasonable given the situation of being basically the only sit-down place with the exception of the higher end El Tovar. Our service was efficient and the food tasty. Would go back.

We originally wanted to have dinner at the Arizona Room, but the location is very small and the demand high so when we went the wait was for 75 minutes (which seemed extravagant). We went over to the Bright Angel Restaurant and there was no wait so we sat down here. The service was good, the food came out fast,... More

We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant in late August. Lunch was great as my wife and I both had sandwiches which were very, very good. Our server was very attentive and we lacked for nothing. However, dinner was quite different. I had eater dinner in the restaurant several years before and had told my wife about the great... More

The Bright Angel restaurant is my go-to restaurant in the park. Given the near-monopoly in the area, their prices were a pleasant surprise. The burgers with onion rings are probably my favourite, but their pastas are generous and tasty too. Most of our visits had short waits for a seat, reasonable service time and attentive staff. Dining with my kids... More
