Amazing View - but Nothing Speical about the food.........

We ate there several times while at the lodge. The canyon view from the lodge dining room was AMAZING. There was nothing special about the food at all. Mediocre is how I would best describe it. It is expensive for what you get. Service was good. However, you have no other choice unless you... read more

The food was average, not bad, nothing to rave about. The service showed the people liked being there, more than willng to direct you to other sights. The room and view is the best.

As we were staying over over night we ate here, as its about the only pace in town. The food was acceptable, I would say it's canteen standard and the prices weren't to expensive.

Because it was foggy when we got to the Grand Canyon we decided to have lunch first so we went to the Lodge. It was pretty quiet in the dining area. The food was pretty good from sandwiches to the entrees we tried. Service was good and the prices were more reasonable then we expected. Would eat there again!

Wonderful dinner in the dining room and we had a table right by the window so the view was awesome. Servers were friendly, food was great whether for breakfast or dinner. We ate both times there. I preferred ordering breakfast from the menu rather than the buffet. Definitely would eat there again!

We had a wonderful breakfast in a lovely dining room. The service was great, it was part of our Caravan Tour, I would definitely return to eat there.

We were so excited to have the chance to visit the GC North Rim. After a long drive we arrived just as it was starting to rain. Then the temperature dropped and the wind kicked in. We had planned a full day of hiking, so instead we had to make the best of our day. After an emergency warm shirt... More

Reading some others reviews, I am surprised that we maybe got lucky? Were we overcome by the view? Were we that hungry? When we arrived, the area was socked in by clouds and we could see nothing. A few hours later, as we settled in for dinner, things cleared. We were awed by the sights. Our server was very friendly... More

It's almost difficult to concentrate on food with the incredible view out the front and side of the dining room. Full length windows make it seem like you are still sitting out on the back deck (which I highly recommend you do at some point). We were here for lunch. The servers were prompt and friendly, and the food appeared... More

My brother- and sister-in-law, my husband and I ate here the night we spent at the North Rim. The view was incredible, but you can get it from the verandah without subjecting yourself to the food. My sister-in-law and I both ordered a "fresh" tomato spaghetti, my husband ordered smoked duck that he said was the best food he ate... More
