Ate here four times, a breakfast, a lunch, and two dinners, and got great meals each time. The servers were friendly and helpful, the food delicious, and the views unforgettable!

First stop on Grand Canyon tour was to the North Rim for lunch at the Grand Canyon Lodge Dining Room. Great start to trip!. Spectacular views from the dining area. Food had typical southwest flare. I enjoyed the Burrito Verde and my wife the Southwest Grilled Chicken. Food was delicious. First time I tried Avocado and found it to be... More

We visited the North Rim in June 2013 and were pleased to find this dining room much improved. On our visit in 2012, we found the breakfast service abysmal. At one sitting, there wasn't even silverware on the tables and we had to ask before it was provided. The servers seemed to be lost in space and it was hard... More

Main restaurant is in lodge and looks like a great place, big, old, rustic, warm interior with large windows to view canyon. However, low wattage lighting makes it hard to read menus, food was so-so, one salmon was over cooked and the other undercooked. Food not sufficiently hot, seemed it must have sat waiting to be served, got cold once... More

We arrived in the late afternoon and aside from an early reservation we had to wait until 8.45pm (9.45pm in old time zone) to secure a booking in the dining room. The dining room had the rustic charm of a mountain lodge. The staff were pleasant. My Alaskan Salmon was beautifully cooked but only a small serve in comparison to other... More

I like to have breakfast in the main dining room of the National Park lodges. This usually results in a reasonably priced meal in a spectacular setting. This one turned out to be one of the best. I was seated promptly at a table with a spectacular view of the fog shrouded canyon. The waitress was busy, but got my... More

Dinner here at sunset is positively unforgettable. Two walls are completely windowed meaning that you can take it all in. It really doesn't matter where you sit. The food is also very good, and this is in spite of the fact that our visit was sandwiched between the government shut-down and the last day of the season. The salmon was... More

Had a wonderful hot dinner , small portions, but very tasty, not to expensive, would recommend it, don't be mistaken by the 1 hr. difference in time as we did.
