This Lounge has great views of the Canyon from inside or outside. Drinks are great and service is excellent. This is a must stop if you are visiting the Canyon and need an adult beverage.

I heard it was hard to get dinner reservations at this restaurant, so went there for lunch instead. Very nice place. Food was great. Waiter was very helpful and suggested food options that worked with my food allergies. The portions were generous. The prices were not bad either.

The El Tovar lobby has some couches to sit on and about a dozen stuffed animal heads to admire on walls and a gift shop but no café other than the reservations only restaurant. There is a restroom in basement if just passing through.

as you can imagine, there's not a lot of places to have a quiet drink (without the moody teenagers in tow) after a day of incredible scenery at GCNP. My husband and I stopped in here for cocktail and I must say - its beautiful - like an old lodge. The staff were very friendly but it was busy! If... More

We had a couple drinks on the deck outside and a couple inside. Not a lot of room, so we were happy to get tables. The mixed drinks were good, but too small for the price. We felt the beers were good and prices about average. Service was excellent.

That was my big revelation... we went to El Tovar Lodge restaurant to look at the amazing dessert display and as we oogled over the desserts, a friendly server told us they can be ordered in the lounge as well which was perfect for us as we did not want the hassle of a reservation. We had appetizers, dessert, and... More

this is a wonderful place to experience service and a setting that is both traditional and friendly. The cheese board changes with availability including a chutney and crackers on our day. Good appetizers for a quick snack.

We had a reservation for 8 PM, and were seated promptly. Our waiter Jaime was excellent, and we enjoyed discussing the different wines of the various regions that we have both visited. The El Tovar house salad is a nice departure from the regular, with olives pine nuts and goat cheese. The entree portions are really huge, my wife had... More

It was 1 pm on a Tuesday and we found an open table in the middle of the room. There were 4 servers we sat there for 15 mins before being acknowledged. The table behind us hadn't been cleared when another couple came in and stood there. A waiter cleared it, sat them and then took their order he told... More

Had drinks and small bites here. Friends had the bratwurst, which was good...we had the nachos which were only fair. Pita Chips used instead of tortilla, buried under a bed of tired lettuce. Seriously, how do you mess up nachos, a staple of bar food in the ISA. Well, they managed!
