Food was mediocre. Staff were unfriendly. Price was more expensive than the quality of food. We dined here for dinner and breakfast. Would not recommend.

We had a beautiful view of the canyon at sunset. Parking is tricky. Took us 1/2 hour to find a spot.

Too many day visitors leaving no space to relax in the hotel away from so many people looking in the shops & using the very public facilities in the hotel

We came for lunch and got seated right by the window so we had a great view. Our sandwiches, soups and desserts were all very delicious. Everyone we dealt with were professional. Overall a great meal. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

We stopped here after an afternoon stroll along the rim for a cocktail and a bite to eat. ended up having a very nice pudding sat on the verander out the back.

A must see is the El Tovar, great history, food, view to die for. We love eating at least one meal here. Fine dining at its best in a location unbeatable

I had dinner at El Tovar in May 2013 and again a few days ago. Both times we had reservations and were seated promptly on time ( actually had the same table). The first time we asked the restaurant manager to take a picture and he was physically annoyed but took a picture. Our service was very slow but the... More

We were here for lunch and ordered the cheese and crackers, fries and crab cake sliders. Sliders were OK, fries good, but the cheese plate was out of this world. We licked it clean. There is outdoor seating but we were indoors. There is a wonderful view of the GC steps from the deck. We did not order any alcohol... More

Our servers were professional, attentive to our needs and interested in our feelings toward the restaurant. The food was good and the dessert was scrumptious.

We went to the El Tovar on the recommendation of the Holiday Inn people, who recommended El Tovar due to its great views. The food was just terrible. My friend ordered the quail, which was entirely devoid of salt and seemed like chewing on rubber. The same was true for the duck I ordered. My suggestion would be that if... More
