Skip the dining room and eat outside on the lounge patio

We had a reservation for the dining room, which is nice - but... a beautiful sunset called us outside. Self seating on the lounge patio is a super choice. We had Duck Sliders $12, A wonderful cheese plate filled with dried fruits and nuts $14 and a yummy Brat $10 they usually have a good drink... read more

What a great place to stay within the national park. It is rustic, beautiful and worth the money. Staying here allows you to see the park with out having to drive in and out to Tucion for accommodations. Parking is a little tough later in the afternoon but everything is right at you fingertips. The restaurant is delicious and there... More

This was a 50th birthday dinner with a request of something near a window made way in advance. We were sat near the entrance, not even close to a window and right next to a very loud drunk party of 7. Not once did anybody ask this party to hold their loud noise down. My wife had the prime rib... More

Food was much better than expected - reasonably priced. The pomegranate cheesecake and the brie and avocado burger made my day.

Enjoyed dinner and drinks after a long day on the road. Great place to relax and warm up. Staff was efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Will make it a point to go there again!

The dining room over looks the Canyon, so before you have even eaten you are in awe. The menu was hearty and healthy and the service was fast and efficient. Most of the tables were filled but our food arrived very quickly. Price was a bit high, but quantity and service make it a good value.

We recently went to the Grand Canyon for a day trip and so wanted to go into the El Tovar but there was absolutely no place to park and we are handicapped so limited to long walks, even though there wasn't even a 'long walk' place to park. Many years ago we were in the El Tovar but it was... More

Beautiful to sit on porch and overlook Grand Canyon. The menu was small but good. I had shrimp cocktail that came with a very good ceviche and duck sliders that were delicious. The duck had a berry bbq sauce - yummy.

We stopped here after a long day hike to rest on the outside porch. View was excellent and light meal was satisfactory. Wait staff was indifferent. Bartenders seemed to care less and it was not even busy.

Went there for breakfast and it was a little pricey but the location is great of course. Their service is impeccable, they had a waiter, an assistant waiter and someone else assigned to keep our drinks full. The food was delicious and their coffee was superb. Definitely worth the money
