This is a to-go style pizza and deli. Everything is pricey, but you are miles from anyway, so duh, it would be. The pizza is average and you'll eat it but it won't knock your socks off. The best thing here are drinks and soft ice cream. Have a cone and enjoy where you are!

varied menu and nice set up with helpful staff, saw a meatball sub that looked inviting BUT had samples of 4 pizzas, which are standard quick for groups , families, bus tours, AND every one was doughy , undone, disgusting. couldn't believe this is not addressed. we got in late Fri after 23 mile Rim to Rim hike so needed... This 'deli' is the worst--bad, overpriced pizza and pre-packaged salads from Sysco. The North Rim is great, but there is a lack of dining options--the concessions contract needs to be granted to someone who actually cares about their customers and desires to provide quality services and products.

We stopped in here and ordered a whole pizza as it was the best deal for the price. We were told to return in 20 min to pick it up so we waited and when we went to pick up, it took another 10 minutes for it to be ready as they were 'cutting' it. We then walked back in... More

Hard to believe a deli could be this bad, but it is. They were continually out of food at times when the deli was the only option available at the North Rim. The sandwiches were vending machine quality and the chicken Caesar salad had very little lettuce to it. The pizza was OK when they weren't out. Honestly this establishment... More

We wanted a quick bite before our mule ride, and Deli in the Pines was our only choice really without having to drive out of the park. The prices for salads, sandwiches, and hot entrees were pretty steep. I guess that's to be expected for a remote tourist destination. The didn't look appealing to me. We all ended up getting... More

We got to the Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim late on the Trans Canyon Shuttle, and by the time we had checked in and had been to Bright Angel Point, we didn’t feel like standing in line waiting forever for a table at the nice dining room inside the lodge – after all, we’d get up at 4:15 the following... This place is not good. We were greeted by a weird smell as soon as we opened the door - like old fish ! It was dingy, dreary and expensive. It would be much better to take your own lunch in a cooler. The North Rim is wonderful so don't be put off by the lack of good, reasonably priced... More

Deli in pines at the grand canyon lodge is on the north rim of the canyon. This small place is suprisingly good for where it is and what it could be. As other posters have mentioned, eating places are hard to come by at the north rim. You only have 3 choices, the restaurant, the deli and the bar. The... More

We picked up sandwiches from the deli to eat on the patio outside the lodge and watch the sunset. We were pleasantly surprised how good they were and the price was reasonable, too. They had quite alot of sandwiches to choose from. I had the portabella sandwich and found it to be well seasoned.
