We ate at the "deli" twice and made sure we ate in the dining room on our second night. I would liken it to a Little League baseball snack bar. The pizza was dough and cheese, with optional pepperoni. BTW, the pizzas in the bar are brought over from the "deli". The pulled pork sandwich was still cold in the... More

This is for the deli at the lodge at the North Rim. Had dinner here one night while staying in one of the cabins of the lodge. If you haven't made reservations for dinner in the main dining room, this may be your only option other than a very limited menu at the saloon. And the menu here is pretty... More

Having visited a great many national parks, the Deli in the Pines is really not a bad option. I'm speaking specifically about the pizza, as it fit a craving after our hike to Roaring Springs and back. We were very hungry (and cold!) so we ordered a whole pizza at the register - half pepperoni/half cheese. The wait time was... More

If you are going to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to hike with an early morning start, make a reservation at the Lodge's dining room way, way in advance to get an early seating. We called only 4 days in advance and the earliest reservation available was 9 p.m. That was way too late for us as we... More

If you actually enjoy the food you eat then don't eat here. This is not a deli in the true sense of the word. This is more of a convenience store with tables. The sandwiches are premade and prepackaged and the soup is really, really bad. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more to eat in the lodge... More

We knew we needed a little something to hold us until our next meal and the pizza was a perfect choice. They were also serving chili and soup that smelled great. Hmmm. I hope to get back there to try that too!

We came here for lunch and ordered a meatball sub to go. We only ordered one to share as we had bought fruit, nuts, and snacks at a grocery store before going to Grand Canyon. It was very good and was loaded with lots of meatballs. Half of the sandwich was actually enough to fill me up. It was so... More

This is a fast food joint, which shared kitchen with lodge. Good pizza, and also enjoyed elk chilli, but both us having this had gut ache later that night - might be concidence, but.... And I had it the night before in lodge with no problem, so has to be question over standards. However, that aside, good value alternative.

This is a to-go style pizza and deli. Everything is pricey, but you are miles from anyway, so duh, it would be. The pizza is average and you'll eat it but it won't knock your socks off. The best thing here are drinks and soft ice cream. Have a cone and enjoy where you are!

varied menu and nice set up with helpful staff, saw a meatball sub that looked inviting BUT had samples of 4 pizzas, which are standard quick for groups , families, bus tours, AND every one was doughy , undone, disgusting. couldn't believe this is not addressed. we got in late Fri after 23 mile Rim to Rim hike so needed...
