I liked the variety of food choices. The prices were also reasonable. I did not like the long lines to order the food and then the long lines at the checkout. Also for the checkout process it's easy for people to jump the line. There are lots of seats available in the cafeteria's dining hall.

Took the Grand Canyon Railroad to the Grand Canyon. Needed food for the hike along the rim. Everyone and their brother got off at the train depot. We decided to walk immediately away from the crowd and headed to the Maswik Lodge Cafeteria for variety! Quickly walked there (and in the correct direction) and were pleasantly surprised to find a... Although I have experienced exceptional cafeterias, this was not one of them. This is what you would expect if you went though cafeterias in college and/or all-you-can-eat buffets at most restaurants. While the personnel were generally friendly, the food was on the bland side, seasoned for the mass market. The menu is divided by different cafeteria stations. The dining room... More

The pizzeria pizza was GREAT. The breakfast was made to order and very good. Staff were friendly but tired, but that is typical in the parks at busy season. If you aren't doing the El Tovar for upscale, this is a great option.

We ate breakfast there 2 times as it was quick and easy. Food is standard kinda cafeteria fare...beats waiting for table service.

Great option just of the rim. Especially if with kids. Pizza to salad to sandwiches to meals and pasta. Lots of drink and fruit and desert options. Well priced. Gift shop in lobby helps make it a one stop location.

there are different areas: sandwich, grill stuff, home cooked, soups. Prices are very reasonable. We had for dinner the italian dish and turkey and dressing. portions very generous. For breakfast chicken fried steak, potatoes with a croissant. Location is key! after walking all day, you will not feel like cooking or going out of the park to eat. staff is... More

Expensive and terrible. We were sick for almost 24 hours. Big fail. Go to the general store and make your own food - we ate at 3 resorts and they were equally bad.

Like a lot of reviews have stated, this is cafeteria food, not a fancy restaurant. However, that being said, it was actually pretty good. The prices were better here than the nearby town of Tusayan. It was still more than you would pay elsewhere, but normal for a tourist area. You have four main stations of choices(plus a pizza pub).... More

If you're looking for fine dining, this isn't your best choice. If you want enough options to satisfy a large group of picky eaters, this'll do. Most of the food was typical cafeteria-style, with fairly generous portions and not-too-high prices for a tourist location. Plenty of helpful staff around and pretty clean, I'd consider eating there again.
