School cafeteria food

What can you expect from a company that's had a monopoly on food service at the Grand Canyon for 100 years? School cafeteria quality, sometimes warm, sometimes not. Breakfasts are cooked to order and very good. The prices are reasonable.

Was pleasantly surprised by the food options. Ready made & made to order food. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Even with the large crowds coming in.

Cute little food court. Four different things to choose from, hot meal, sub/sandwich, pasta or grill (burgers, chicken, hotdogs). Was really warm in there and did not see outdoor seating. Prices a little high, but they go to the park so I was okay with that. Food was food court quality. Went back a second time.

We always have trouble choosing restaurants around the Grand Canyon. They are often hit or miss, and it is disappointing to pay high prices for mediocre food and poor service. So we tried the Maswik cafeteria again and were not disappointed. We split the meatloaf (two decent size pieces) and got 2 baked potatoes as the included sides for under... More

The food is available in several self service stations and you then pay for it at the till on exiting from the food area into a very large airy room. Standard tables with four chairs which reminded me of a university or military style dining room.

Yes this is not the Arizona Room but they do have some pretty good meals. The breakfast are very good also. You can get a good meal watch some TV and be back out seeing the sites in no time.

I just woke a review for the Arizona Room, we decided to try the Pizza Pub in the Maswik Lodge Cafeteria and my impression of the food consionaire that runs all the Grand Canyon restaurants is trending down. The Maswik Lodge sadly reminds me of one of the newer pop-up Indian casinos...except there are no (thankfully) slot machines here. Fake... More

After hiking, we went to this place looking for something to eat and relax. We found this pizza place. Food was great, prices were reasonable. If looking for a place to relax, watch sports and have a good meal this is the place to go. I highly recommend it

this was a nice place to eat and relax and talk and watch sports on TV. There were a lot of workers eating there after their shifts, so you know it had good food!

Cafeteria style but we liked our meals. I had open faced turkey with mashed potatoes and dressing and a roll. My husband had meat loaf, veggies, and mashed potatoes. Adult granddaughter had pasta, bread and a beer. All in all, we liked our meal. Mine was like Thanksgiving dinner. Very good especially for cafeteria food. We are going back for... More
