Lots of good options

This cafeteria-style eatery has an extensive set of options across a number of genres (Mexican, Italian, burgers and melts, salads, etc) at very reasonable prices. Many items are made to order. Overall, this is an excellent in the park food option.

It's easy and there are a decent amount of choices but that's about all I can say that's nice. Most of the staff is not interested ....although not rude. The food is mediocre at best. The room tends to be a bit crowed and messy. But your choices are not great within the actual Grand Canyon village so you just... More

If you are looking for a world class meal in a beautiful room, with a tremendous view - you are in the wrong place. This is what it appears to be - a food court, so set your expectations based on your previous experiences at food courts. This is fast food, with lots of take out choices for lunches and... More

I remember eating here years ago and the food being decent. However the dinner I had was overpriced, which is to be expected, but the main complaint was the lukewarm food. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. Plenty of food, but would have been so much better if it was warm or better yet, hot! Pay... More

The food was so-so verging on bad, the service was poor, the crowds overwhelming--nothing good to say about this place. They charged me for a grilled cheese I didn't even take from the grill, it was so pitiful. We tried the Pizza Pub but a staff member barked at everyone, after we waited in line for a few minutes, "Pizzas... More

This was the only place in the area that was open at 6am for breakfast and we had somewhere to be at 6:45, so were there when they opened. We had seen the breakfast menu the night before and were looking forward to a good meal to start our full day. The meals that we wanted to order were at... More

You are better off to get to sit down for any meal at bright angel lodge but if you can't find space there this cafeteria will do. Don't expect great food and if you want to eat a healthier salad then be prepared to pay dearly for it. The ambiance is that of any cafeteria. The service of the staff... More

The food is ok, for what it is. It's a cafeteria after all. The staff is friendly enough. What makes it terrible is how over-priced the menu is. The operator of the cafeteria is obviously very comfortable with their current monopoly at the South Rim. Since there are no other restaurants, they've jacked prices sky high. $6.30 for a 1/4... We visited the cafeteria twice in the 2 days we were at the Canyon. The food was tasty and wasn't too expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and in particular the grill cooks were extremely efficient! The building was a bit too warm during both meals, and the floor needs an up-do.

A food court that caters to all appetites. It was exciting to see a list of all GF items available at the soup station. The sandwich area had Udis bread sign prominently displayed. The Reuben sandwich was the best I have had. Pasta, Mexican , comfort foods and sub sandwiches were also available. Great for family, hikers, and everyone for... More
