WE stopped at Two Dog Flats for lunch while visiting Glacier National Park. We had a bison burger and a black bean burger. Both were excellent. We each had a side salad which was very good except for too many onions! A bus full of people arrived just seconds before us and we thought the wait would be long. But... More

When you're staying in the park (and paying premium prices for that), you don't want to have to drive a long way to eat. So Two Dog worked for us since we were in the motel at Rising Sun. We had two dinners. The meat loaf sandwich, hamburger, and brat were good. The roast beef sandwich had so much horseradish... More

Two Dogs has a limited menu, but the burgers were okay. Service was friendly and fast. It is certainly a fine place to stop after a hike.

We stayed at this facility for four days and ate in the grill most meals. Never tired of the friendly service and menu.

Having eaten at many national park restaurants, one knows the food isn't 5 star. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meal. The garden salad was very fresh, cold, and tasty and the burger and fries were very good. Would choose this restaurant over some of the others in the park.

The menu was limited but plenty of vegetarian type options. Turkey meatloaf with carrot gravy was very good. Not your traditional food but well done. My husband ordered the Montana steak, again, not your traditional steak but very good.

My husband and I planned to eat here our entire stay at Rising Sun on the Sept. long weekend but were disappointed for several reasons; #1- The serving staff while very friendly were as if they were in comas (except Eric from Pennsylvania) it took forever to get an order taken, we went for breakfast at 6:30 AM so as... Service was excellent. Had trout and a burger ... both very good but pricey (as is area). The highlight of the meal was seeing a "cinnamon" black bear right outside the window by our table. Evidentally, they were checking out the huckleberries.

It isn't fair to compare Two Dog Flats Grill to trendy urban restaurants or high-falutin' resorts. Keep in mind that this place is open only three months a year, that the help is seasonal (mostly college students) and that the location is within a national park (far removed from most supply lines). Given all this, Two Dog Flats really delivers... More
