The Miccosukee Indian Restaurant is located directly across the street from the Shark Valley entrance to Everglades National Park and is one of only two restaurants within a few miles of the park - This one and Tippy's Everglades Outpost, located 3 miles to the west. The Miccosukee restaurant is the only one of these restaurants that is air conditioned... More

My family and I were taking the Tamiami trail from Fort Myers to Miami, and this is pretty much the only restaurant on the way. My husband had gator bites, which were good. There was a huge portion, about half of them were light and tender. The other half were darker and tough, with areas of gristle. I had the... More

Just not sure what was good about his place. Ordered gator for the 1st time and it was tough and chewy. Very disappointing...since then we have eaten at several, much more, outstanding locations. Also, overpriced for the quality of food. Never again!

My husband and I recently had the misfortune of stopping here for lunch. As we walked in the young girl at the front was literally wiping off the counter and pushing the food scraps onto the floor - not behind the counter but on to the chairs and the floor on the seating side of the counter! Her behavior from... More

Worst lunch I've had in years. Everything was breaded and deep fried with no seasoning. Pretty sure not authentic of any Indian tribe but not bad if looking for a heart attack. Prices were low but still ended up being $25 for 2 people which was 10x what it was worth.

After leaving Shark Valley, I wanted to get something to eat. This is the closest place and the next closest place would probably be one of the air boat places. So there really isn't anything else besides this. Having said that, it was fine. Just don't expect anything fancy. I had the Indian taco. It was fine. It came pre-cut,... More

We stopped off here as we were hoping to grab a spot of lunch at the Everglades Shark Valley Visitor complex but they had nothing more than chocolate bars so it was a choice between the gas station and this place! As everything looked a bit lardy on the menu I went for some Pumpkin Fry Bread (which was also... More
