For a party of 7, we treated ourselves to a dinner out after hiking in Denali for two days. One of our best meals in AK! Clams and crab cakes outstanding and most delectable pot de creme ever - make sure to save room.

Easily the best food I've eaten in Alaska. Get off the beaten tourist track and visit this charming, local treasure. The seafood is killer, and the kitchen sources as much local and responsibly harvested ingredients as possible. A meal here is meant to be savored, so don't come if you're in a rush. The kitchen staff and front of house... More

We ate here while visiting Denali National Park. It came highly recommended. Although our dishes were tasty the service ruined the experience. Our waitress was not attentive. If you don't mind spending a few hours there then you will enjoy. I did find communicating for our reservation prior to season in Alaska was seamless. The manager responded right away and... More

Great beer and burgers at this micro brewing and restaurant! This quaint little town offers a lot for tourists to see. The day we visited the sun was shining and you had a beautiful view of the mountains. The burger we had at the Denali Brewing Company was delicious and the portions were generous. We also drank several of their... More

Food in Alaska is very expensive. Having said that, 229 Parks is somewhat expensive, but the quality of the food was outstanding and worth the price. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the sauces where tasty but not overpowering. The spinach salad was perhaps the best salad I have ever eaten. The Salmon Entree was also outstanding with a... More

I have eatten here a number of times and it is always Excellent. You can eat just a little or a full meal. Everything I have had is outstanding. The meals use as much a possiable of local ingredients. Make sure you get reservations it is very popular. The location is south of all the craziness at the park.

We were in Alaska for more than 15 days and this was the best meal we had while in Alaska. From fresh oysters, the delicious salads to the main entrée of scallops, vegetarian pastry we could not stop talking about the food. Anyone we met on the way to Denali, we told them they needed to each there. It is... More

Read about this restaurant on Tripadvisor. Couldn't get in the first night...had to make reservations and go back. This is 5-star cuisine and atmosphere. We struggled to choose among the entrees. Everything was perfect
