229 Parks is a restaurant that is in a league of it's own in Denali. I stop here whenever I can. It is still the best place to eat, year after year they remain good. Can beat their appetizers and I loved the rabbit last time. The best thing however is always the greens and vegtables. more

A total gem in an area of overpriced and very average fare. The Cole's offer creative combinations that would get attention in any big city let alone the middle of Denali. We spent 10 nights eating all over Alaska and this was by far the best. However, it is very slow since it is a scratch restaurant and apparently only 1 cook. It is about 15 minutes south of the Denal park entrance but worth the drive if you are in the area. They don't take reservations so get there early... more

We ate at this restaurant in July last year. Our group of six had a variety of items. The rabbit and salmon entrees were over cooked. The salads and dessert were excellent. more
