We ate dinner and breakfast here. There are not many dining options in the Alaskan wilderness. Our hotel recommended it when we asked for something quick and healthy. We were surprised to find such a great full service coffee shop among the tourist traps. We were welcomed by the staff and they rescued us with great coffee. We grabbed some snacks to go but next time we are going to sit down and try one of their menu items. The scones were pretty heavenly.

Had regular coffee and breakfast sandwiches 2 mornings. Food and service was very good. Located right across road from Princess lodge so was a great location. Definitely much better food and value than buffet breakfast at lodge. Had a nice local atmosphere.

Good coffee, pretty quick service. If you're at Princess Wilderness, walk across the street. It'll be worth it. Food is exactly what you would expect for breakfast at a small coffee house. I'll be back with my wife tomorrow. I get the feeling the owner eats full vegan, they are 100% vegan and gluten friendly, and the only breakfast option... More

The coffee really is excellent. That, combined with very friendly staff, made it out favorite place for breakfast in Denali.

Excellent breakfast, much better food than the $16 buffet at the bluffs. Be sure to get some of the breads and cookies for snacks later.

Great coffee. Don't order any food. They just can't cook and the portions are small. Its a shame as it is a well run place and ideal in this small town

We stopped her and were quite impressed with the food. It's a local run counter-service cafe that had really good food and a variety of gluten-free and vegan options.

Black Bear is the best place to eat and drink in Denali. The coffee is fantastic and the food is incredible, plus the staff are all super friendly, helpful and fun. Tons of lots of exceptional vegan and GF options, too!!

Not many breakfast places in Denali. The best value appeared to be the Goldilox bagel. Real chunks of lox over a good sized schmear of cream cheese. It also has a good assortment of pastries. Like anything else in Denali, it was priced on the high end.
