Loved loved LOVED the food. Everything we had from the mashed potato to the smoked salmon burger was delicious. Would definitely recommend this coffee house to all. Wish they had this place near to my pace I would be a regular there

The coffee in this place is definitely serving some of the best coffee in the USA. Well done Black bear House. The food wasn't as good for us unfortunately and we had to wait a bit for meals. I had the BBQ PULLED PORK SANDWICH which was tasty but it was a little soggy which made it hard to eat.... More

This place gets very good reviews so my husband and I had it on our list of dining spots while we were in Denali staying at McKinley Chalet Resort. This small eatery is located a short walk across the street from the resort. We went here for dinner on 8/13/15. There is a room off to the side with tables... More

Heard good things about the coffee and wasn't disappointed. Picked up premade sandwiches for our days at Denali National Park. Sandwiches were hit and miss depending on what was available. First 2 days were pretty good; third day the choice was not very good. Breakfast looked pretty good, but didn't need it.

The place is super busy but we got some great deserts to take with us on the road. The split pea and ham soup was great as was the vegetarian chili. My mother had a cold cut sandwich which was fine. It was a little pricey though but options are limited in Glitter Gulch. It was packed and super busy... More

Stumbled across this coffee house while wandeing the strip stores and shops across the Georges Parks Highway from the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Ordered a couple of speciality coffees, a pecan muffin and a slice of pecan crumb bread. Sat on their outside tables for an afternoon break to enjoy the weather and people watch. The coffee was quite good... More

We had a bountiful breakfast at the Black Bear as we began our day at Denail. The food was superb, the servers and other patrons were friendly, and we bought some great t-shirts for souvenirs. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for an espresso from a local vendor. This is a wonderful place to go for coffee or a meal. The soup is warming and the sandwiches filling. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Make sure you try this cafe when you visit the area. You will not be disappointed.

All food prepared on premises. Pastries healthy with natural ingredients, excellent taste, good variety. Breakfast quick, inexpensive, with barista beverages available. Recommended by locals and better than lodge.
