Cute place with a nice variety of foods, simple and pleasant. Free wi-fi. We liked the food. And the atmosphere.

We were walking around the shops and someone whom I assume was the owner of Black Bear gave us a coupon and told us they had a full menu, not just coffee. We decided to check them out for breakfast. He was right. The menu wasn't extensive but it was good and ranged from a bagel to eggs and ham... More

We stopped and had hot drinks. They took their time but you got exactly what you wanted. Our friends ordered food and were very pleased with the quality. The service is slow but they seem to be working to please each customer.

Excellent coffee, if I may say so! One of Alaska's finest. Brewed to perfection. Kid friendly shop. Only open during tourist season!

I was in denali for 10 days and was planning to buy coffee and breakfast items at a grocery store for the time to save money. This plan changed when I grabbed a coffee at the Black Bear on day 1..... I'm a bit of a coffee snob and happily discovered the Black Bear has AMAZING COFFEE! Lots of fun... More

The espresso drinks here are quite good. The muffins (we had bran) are a bit bland and a bit small. The prices are expensive, but in-line with restaurant prices across Alaska. The sit-down area is a bit cramped and the floor moves quite a bit when people walk on it. I would get my coffee to go if I had... More

I always stop here for coffee and food. Breakfast and lunch options are limited but wonderful. They have plenty of gluten-free and dairy free options for food (and espresso - coconut, soy and almond milk available) and baked goods. Wonderful place to hang out with free wifi and outdoor seating.

Loved this place for their coffees, vegan soups and sandwiches, home-made breads, friendly staff. Located right across Denali Princess hotel.

We loved the coffee in this place. Hands down one of the best. We went each of the 3 days to have it. In fact every morning we eagerly looked forward to our cappuccino and latte. Our food experience was mixed. Excellent pastries - and deserving of that extra star along w the coffee. You can buy pre packed lunches... More
