Nice to find a coffee house in Glitter Gulch, and we enjoyed coffee and dessert after our afternoon whitewater rafting trip on the Nenana River. Coffee was good, the gluten-free pastries were just okay, but we really appreciated that they had more than one kind to offer. The almond jam cookie was nice, the apple cake a bit dry and... More

Black Bear is a godsend for Denali National Park. Most of the restaurants in the area are unhealthy and massively overpriced. Their prices are reasonable (especially for Alaska!), the food is superb and the coffee is better than any coffee house north of Anchorage. The employees are weird and hip and creative. The mimosas are perfect for those warm summer... More

Every time we drove down from Fairbanks, I had to stop for a mocha at this place. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is delicious. Definitely, definitely get some coffee at this place.

Good place for grabbing breakfast, lunch or coffee. Baked goods are really delicious, coffee is decent and the lunch was good. Breakfasts are a little underwhelming but with limited to-go options, they are quick and relatively healthy. Try the Chia seed pudding (in the cold case) - its really delicious! Cute atmosphere, if the weather is good you can sit... More

Their coffee is excellent and their food (especially the lentil soup) is superb! Nothing like walking in from the cold and warming up here.

If you are looking for healthy food in Denali, this is the place to be. If you are going on a tour, do NOT rely on your tour to provide a quality meal. GET SNACKS HERE AND BRING THEM WITH YOU! The staff are all wonderful people and the coffee is fantastic. Gluten Free baked goods taste great as well.... More

This is a great place for breakfast. We loved the bagels and the coffee. The staff is super friendly and helpful with information about fun things to do while in Denali. The muffins and cookies looked really good. We can't wait till next summer to return.

Got a delicious, nourishing veggie soup. Seating area, though on the smallish side, was comfortable. Within a short drive of Denali park entrance.

The coffee and breakfast sandwich were better than I'd expected, but it was so very crowded. Obviously, they are a success!
