Yes, there was a fantastic view along with your food - and the food was outstanding - very large portions. The wait staff consisted of summer workers and they were delightful.

We found this little restaurant on Tripadvisor and would like to make note- never judge a book by it's cover! It's not fancy & the menu isn't huge, but they make an amazing cheeseburger! The food was fresh, well prepared, & servers friendly. They also had a good selection of fresh baked goods for dessert in a case- too hard... More

Discovered the café on our road journey from Anchorage to Fairbanks at Mile 224 from Anchorage. Our first visit was for a quick snack, a soup and drink. First eating establishment we had passed for a while so the timing was perfect. The café is fairly small, around 25/30 seats. A number of lodgings/cabins are situated here as well. Impressed... More

We stayed at McKinley Creekside Cabins in July while visiting Denali with friends, and we loved it! Like other reviewers, we weren't expecting that they would have such a great café as well. The food was so good that we ate all of our meals there. The servers were very friendly, and fun, and you could tell that they really... More

This restaurant had specials ranging from halibut to pasta all prepared exquisitely at a quality that surprises. Service is good, consistent. Desserts are worth saving a little room for--the rhubarb coffeecake was WOW...the cinnamon buns are dinner plate sized.

When we booked accommodations at McKinley Creekside Cabins we were hoping for great rooms, which we had, but we were not expecting the food. The first night there we decided to try the restaurant, because we were tired and did not want to go far. I am so glad we did!! I had the meatloaf that first night and it... More

We had a group of five ladies and each ordered something different and each dinner was great. The chicken pot pie was full of chicken and veggies with a great crust. One person had the veggie lasagna and she said it was too unbelievably good. The restaurant is small and you might have to wait for a table. But, it... More

We rented two of their cabins while driving from Denali to Homer, so we got to eat in the cafe for dinner, and breakfast the following morning. Food was very good and servers were very friendly. Managed to resist those huge cinnamon rolls, regretfully.....they sure looked mighty tempting. The granola packets in the cabins were so excellent that we determined... More

we stayed at the mc kinley creekside cabins for 3 nights, so we had breakfast, lunch, dinner and a box lunch, all from this little cafe, in the middle ofalmost nowhere.....yes, service is not very fast, probably because of 1 or 2 waiters working alone.... having said that, the goat cheese appetizer was just heavenly, and i ended up ordering... I know, it's Alaska and I'm on vacation, but I'm still impatient when it comes to good service. While the food was really good, the service was really slow. Lunch was very tasty and i would recommend it based on the excellent food.
