We stayed at the perch resort for 3 nights . We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Both were good. We thought this restaurant is better than the creek side cafe. More vegetables in the cuisine and the fish was freshier. Wine was good-priced and tasty. The lunch pack for the park... read more

I was very excited to try this restaurant after reviews I read but was a little disappointed afterwards. We ordered the salmon and the halibut. The halibut and salmon were both cooked nicely. However, though the descriptions on the menu were different, both plates of food looked almost identical except for the fish itself. We were looking forward to sharing... More

I loved the food here but the friend with whom I was traveling had a different experience which is why I didn't give it the best score. The halibut soup and crabcake appetizers that I had were both outstanding and the restaurant itself is very pretty with a great wine selection. The place is a little pricey but it's nice.... More

We had dinner at the Perch while visiting the Denali area... First off, the bread is to die for! And you can even buy it to go! My kids had the very reasonably priced ($5 each) breaded halibut and it was very good. I know this because they ate most of it. My wife had the halibut dinner and it... More

Tired and hungry from a long day of hiking and travel, we braved the bumps and heaves in the road to get to the Perch restaurant. The menu looked promising and the location is charming. We had to wait a bit to get our menus, and staff seemed kind of flustered. When the waitress finally came to take our order,... More

While traveling in Denali with family, we had dinner at The Perch to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. We had twelve in our party. This was the perfect place for us to celebrate Alaska style: great host, beautiful space, good food. Thank you, Perch!

Fantastic dinner and great breakfast. We ate here when we stayed at their cabins. I had halibut and my wife had salmon (and we tasted each others!) and both were excellent. The home made bread is really good. Good service and good food, hard to beat.

The Perch restaurant was a great place to eat. The owner was amazing. Food was great had the Filet Minion, they also server, Halibut,Salmon and Duck to name a few. They have a good selection of Wine and Beer. Deserts are all made from scratch by the owner. The service was excellent. The view of the mountains are awesome. This... More

This was a nice surprise, given its relatively remote location and connection with non-upscale accommodations. If you can find your way along the gravel road (follow the moose figures) you will be rewarded with great food and a great view of nearby mountains and woods. Homemade wheat bread was a tasty way to start. Salads were good. Entree's of salmon... More
