tasty breakfast

The breakfast was reasonably priced and served in a timely manner. Dinners were very pricey. The decor was interesting also.

About the only place to have fine dining at the Denali Princess Wilderness lodge at Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska. Food choices were not exciting and the amount of food considering the prices (comparable to New York City) was too small and rather plain.

On the grounds of the Denali Princess Lodge, this restaurant has a panoramic view of the Nenama River and the Alaskan landscape. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the breakfast options. The "Sunrise Express" includes two scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon, reindeer sausage, and a biscuit for $9.00. Coffee cost $3.25. Another choice is the... More

Stopped here and checked out the lunch menu and found it much more affordable than the dinner menu. The selections were great and portions good sized. And you can't beat the views out the window of the mountains. I recommend for lunch and would return again.

Had linguine and spinach with salmon. Very fresh pasta dish with spinach, tomatoes and cheese with a salmon steak on top, quite good. Next night had the same only asked for scallops instead of salmon as they had this posted on the menu outside the restaurant but apparently they don't this anymore, how hard is it to cross it off... The view from this restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast here twice and found the food varied and good tasting. Service was prompt. I know the restaurant is open for dinner. It would be a high cost restaurant, but based on our breakfast experience should provide a good place to eat. Restaurants across the road looked more informal and casual.... More

Try the king crab or the fresh king salmon! View is great right on the river. Ask for the chef if you have good allergies and speak to him directly. Main courses run about $45.

My wife and I ate here twice while on a Princess Crises land tour. To begin with, you are not faced with a lot of choices while on the property. In fact there are only a half dozen or so restaurants offering some basically over priced meals to the members of their tours. In any event, for breakfast at least,... More

Nice restaurant, Pretty view from the window seats. We eat there once for lunch ,twice for dinner and went to the bar. The food was pretty high quality and the presentation and the portion size was good. The service was some of the best we had on our trip. We did not expect this from a Hotel restaurant.

The floor to ceiling windows offer a stunning view of the mountains and forests as well as the ever changing weather. This restaurant came highly recommended so we decided to treat ourselves. We both ordered Alaskan Halibut which was very good but the portion size was small for the price. It was a nice meal but not among our best.... More
