Exceeded Expectation for Captive Resort

When you travel on a cruise-tour, you are captive to the resort (generally speaking). We had both dinner and a lunch at this restaurant. We found the food to be good given we were there during first few days of seasonal operation (first cruise of season). Make a reservation - be sure to get seated... read more

We are here during the summer. The restaurant was typical lodge in its decor. We had an interior table and it was a smoky day (wildfire season is in high gear here), so we had no view to speak of. Staff was friendly, if a little inexperienced. My husband and I both had King Salmon crusted with sea salt, with... More

I don't mind spending top dollar for a great experience. Our family of four had no appetizers and no desserts and spent $200 on a middle of the road meal.

This was probably the best meal we had during our three week trip. I had prime rib and my wife had the King Crab. Both were great, cooked perfectly. Our waitress was one of the most upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable ones we have ever had!! Do not miss eating here!!!!

We decided to have a nice meal on our first night and this restaurant did not disappoint! The Salmon was perfectly cooked and our waitress was so friendly. Great local ice cream with beautiful views!

The King Salmon dish was $44 and too rich for us, so we had the Prime Rib and Brick Chicken. They were half the price. It was very good. Since we were a captive audience, it was convenient and the quality was good. The atmosphere of the dinning area was excellent. It was like an expensive dinning place. The staff... More

The place is warm and inviting. Beautiful decor and wonderful views of the river. There is a large outdoor dining deck as well as ample indoor seating. We chose indoor as it was very windy that evening. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our waiter was friendly, efficient, and knowledgable about the menu. He offered suggestions and answered any questions... More

This is probably one of the best restaurants in the area in regards to both dinner selection and ambiance. We were there with a party of six and all of us ordered different meals. Selections were King Salmon, Halubut, Chicken, Salmon Salad, prime Rib and NY Strip. All of us were very pleased with our dinners. The Apple Crisp and... More

I couldn't help but feel as if we were walking onto the set of the former TV series "Twin Peaks." At the entrance of this lodge type restaurant, there was a sitting area filled with a "mishmash" of outdated furniture and decor that didn't match. The restaurant had a log cabin feel, a wooden cathedral ceiling with chandeliers hanging down... More
