Really Good Food and Drink, Hot and Crowded in the Summer

Prospectors has quickly become a hotspot in the Denali area. You can't deny the pizza is pretty good. If you want to splurge try the King Crab Pizza. $50, yes expensive, but it's a fair amount of crab on a pizza... Worth doing once. My usual favorite is the smoked salmon one with cream cheese, red... read more

Even though this place is located in the lodge, local folks go there too. We sat at a table, but the bar was crowded with regulars who were having a good time. Huge beer selection, and the pizza was excellent.

So many options for beer and all of them are worth a try. The bbq pizza is so good as well as the most expensive one, see picture. Its worth it.

Come here just for the crust! The lineup out front is well deserved and the quality of the entrees will not disappoint. Try the meat lovers after a big hike! Order more for leftovers!

My husband and I are always on the look out for a good pizza. This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. We had dinner here on 8/12/15. There were some very different pizzas on the menu but not being adventurous in our senior years we settled on the very tasty cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza washed down... More

Had a bar-length of beer tabs and their vegan pizza selection was amazing. Had the Flora pizza and it was delicious and perfectly paired with one of the great beers on tap. Would definitely recommend it to vegans and beer lovers!

We had a group of 10 of us (Aussies) and all of us raved about how good this place was. We loved it so much here we came back the next night for dinner as well. Chad was our host both nights and he is an excellent waiter. Definitely an asset to this business. They have a large range of... More

Highly recommended, we waited a loooong time to be seated. We ordered a half and half pizza, which was not prepared as requested. The management would not comp our meal, but our waiter brought us a complimentary dessert to share, which took a bit of the disappointment out of the evening.

We ate at Prospectors because a friend of a friend worked there and we promised we would go. The décor is really interesting with mining tools and old photos on the walls. The pizza was good but nothing special.(we are from Chicago ) Our server was more interested in playing a piano ( which he didn't know how to do)... More
