A decent grilled chicken salad

The meal was nothing more than average restaurant food. The server wasn't very friendly though we tried to get her to smile.

It was most surprising to find such a nice place with such good cooking in such a deserted place :) Nice staff, wide choice, moderate prices, so really good choice in this part of the valley.

Spent two days on the porch in mid-July. Amazing views. Watching the shadow of sunset slide across the valley and up the mountains opposite is the best light show in California. Great food, and a fabulous beer selection. They also offer margaritas made with the juice of the prickly-pear cactus. The babble of European languages is intoxicating and guests frequently... More

Look, I know this is Death Valley, so no one should expect luxury accommodations, but this place was just plain trashy and neglected. Our camp site had zero shade or privacy, with a dead tree standing next to it, and there was trash and cigarette butts all over the ground. I even found a pair of eyeglasses in the dirt.... More

There are 3 coolers of beer to choose from here in the desert!!!! It is just a small place so it was unusual to see such a selection. There weren't many other patrons there when we were so service was very attentive. The pizza we had was yummy--we three ladies finished off the large without a problem it was so... More

Limited menu (understandable) nice view. It did not taste bad at all. And then the gratuity (mandatory). I checked the check to late. So I could not refuse it anymore. I took a peep the rooms. I was glad I stayed in the Furnace Creek.

It was nice to have a quite meal on the patio.. It was so quite at some times you wish it lasts more. Not too many cars go by and that's what makes it special.

The variety & quality of the food is good. You can sit on the patio and relax with a beer and chat with everyone else doing the same thing. It's just a nice place to go and get away from it all.

Food was great and the place has an undeniable special charm, but the waitress spoiled our dinner by complaining about the tip, making us feel uncomfortable. Tips are voluntary and complaining about them is unacceptably rude.

We stopped here after leaving Death Valley N.P. and we were heading to Lone Pine & the Alabama Hills. It was a great stop, I ended up having a few beers and a bacon cheese burger. The burger was great, and the beers were fantastic. The beer selection at this place is remarkable and worth a stop all in itself.... More
