Fine food in a great location

Ate a late breakfast here. Food was very good and price was much better than the buffet next door. Best place to eat when you are on this side of Death Valley

We have to remember we are in a National Park with limited resources and choices. In addition you may have to pay more than you normally would. Server (Paul) was great when I explained I had found some material in my food....these things happen

Descent food, just clean the place and paint the walls...seems simple, but they don't get it. Other restaurants in the ranch have the same problem...dark and dingy, but the food is ok....everything would taste better if it was updated

The food was about average and overpriced, but you expect that when your in a national park. We had the burger and cup of chili and our daughter had the grilled cheese. Enjoyed the burger and grilled cheese. The chili tasted like a cheap can of chili you get from the grocery store. Not a bad choice, just be prepared... More

The 49'er Cafe is one of two restaurants at Furnace Creek Ranch; it is unpretentious with a limited menu. Dinner was adequate, but expensive. The Continental breakfast with fruit and oatmeal was fine, indeed, the fresh fruit was very good. However, it was expensive for what we got. Considering that there are few choices around you just have to plan... More

If you are having dinner at the Furnace Creek Ranch, this is the place to go. The Wrangler Steakhouse was way to pricey, and we had horrendous service at the Corkscrew Saloon. Yes, it is pricey, and the options are limited, but you are smack in the middle of a large national park and the nearest options are either a... More

The kitchen was so slow and couldn't follow directions. We spent two hours for the whole dinner which could have been done in a half hour sigh

Their breakfast was ok, but forget about dinner, it's hopeless, at least what we ordered. The service was quick and the servers were friendly.

The food was ok, but there were no salads on the menu, we were told we would have to go to the other dining room for salads. We had already ordered our drinks and an appetizer. We had sandwiches, shock were pretty good.

Food was poor and expensive, but not many choices. Fried chicken was the best, and we ate there many times.
