Captive Dinner

We were part of a tour group, staying at the hotel across the street from the restaurant. Bryce Canyon is very nice, but the choices for dinner are quite limited. We both ordered off the menu. I had the Ribeye and my wife had the filet. Both were good to very good, although my ribeye had quite... read more

You must plan your visit to Bryce Canyon Nationial Park to allow time to enjoy a feast at Ruby's Inn. It is convenient to the Park shuttle service, on the road to the Park entrance and has plenty of parking nearby. The food is great, especially the ribs. The buffet value is evident and the service was very good. Enjoy!!!

After a long day at the beautiful Bryce Canyon decided to have dinner at Ruby's. I had the speckled trout, a large enough portion for two people! It was excellent! My husband had a salad, which he also gobbled down. The wait staff was extremely friendly even though we got there almost at quitting time! We would definitely return, the... More

On the morning of our stay at Ruby's Inn--which was not a good experience-- we decided to get up early and go to the restaurant right when it opened at 6:30 am, before the stampede of the bus loads of tourists arrived. This proved to be a good decision. We were seated immediately and avoided the crowds. My husband and... More

We stayed at the inn overnight, so we ate here three times: lunch, dinner and breakfast. All in all, there is usually a pretty decent choice if you take the buffet. The food quality is adequate, but not more (e.g. soup and salad bar buffet for lunch was merely okay; pasta for dinner was quite good, but the burger wasn't).... More

The food was mediocre at best. We did not choose the buffet, perhaps it would have been better, but I doubt it. The people were friendly, but they pretty much have a captive group unless you chose to eat at the Lodge, which we did do one night and it was deightful!

Food was very good. Great variety. Great ambiance. A western motif, quite in line with the proximity of Bryce Canyon National Park.

The service at this place is worse than terrible. The food is less than average. Lots of bus loads of people are brought in here on tours and are treated like cattle. Move them in...and move them out.

We had the buffet, there is a large selection of mostly average food. You will definitely get your fill. The cornbread was delicious.

There were a lot of people that were in line for this buffet, but luckily the line moved very quickly. I chose the soup and salad buffet option, which was very very poor. There was hardly any types of soup, the kind I chose was very poor in taste. My husband chose to do the full bar, and there were... More
