After 2 weeks in Utah wyoming and Arizona eating really wood western meat we found this restaurant outside Bryce canyon. What a pleasant surprise!!! Home made pies are really good but the prime rib is just superb.

Found this place after seeing a long line at Ruby's. Seating was fast and both the food and service were good. Foster's is about a mile away from the main junction near the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. It was worth driving the extra mile to avoid the crowds.

This restaurant has promise but fails in some areas. My son liked the hamburger, and we heard the pies are exceptional. My wife ordered the salad and soup bar. The soup looked so unappetizing no one had the courage to try it. Other dishes were okay, or mediocre. The location is convenient and should be very busy. Restaurant Impossible could... More

Ended up at Foster's after leaving a different restaurant because of a 45 minute wait for dinner. Seated right away with server bringing water and menus. Our meals came with soup or salad. BBQ chicken was good but would have preferred less sauce on it. My husband's Prime Rib was outstanding - one of the best he has ever eaten.... More

We decided to try this place based upon the TA reviews. We were not disappointed. The service was friendly, informative and fast. The salad bar had many items, all of which were fresh and good. Michele had the salmon for $16, which was served with rice and mixed veggies. She said it was excellent (she doesn't say that very often).... More

We stayed at their associated motel for 3 nights and ate here for breakfasts and 2 dinners. At $6 the all you can eat salad bar is excellent value with enough choices for a good feed. The last night we got their only vegetarian dish, the grilled veggies, i am also allergic to gluten and the waittress knew exactly what... More

Stopped on the way to Bryce for lunch while on tour van. Good sandwiches, fast service. Great fresh-baked hard rolls. Pies looked good, but we passed.

Ate early after sunrise shoot. Wondered if it was good since no one was there, but we were pleasantly surprised. Hubs got Ham and Egg Scramble with Sourdough Toast. I got the same but asked if they could add onion and cheese. No problem, said the waitress. OMG! So good, so fresh, so much. Great breakfast and really good prices.... More

As we were leaving Bryce National Park I called our hotel to ask where was the best place to eat. Fosters Family Steakhouse was recommended and we were not disappointed. We had the French Dip sandwich and it was excellent. Would highly recommend to other travelers. They were very pleasant, the food was very good, and we highly recommend it.

The service was good at this restaurant, and it was recommended by our hotel, which should have been the first clue. We ordered chili, advertised as homemade. It arrived lukewarm and we had to send it back to be reheated. Flavor was bland and lacked any of the normal chili seasonings. Other dishes may have been okay, but I wouldn't... More
