Good food, good service, lovely setting, and a break from hiking

Although this is the only place to eat within Bryce Canyon National Park, they have taken care to with the quality of the food and service to make it well worth visiting. At lunch, the service was good even though they were also feeding a tour group on the day we were there, the food was tasty... read more

We ate dinner once in the Lodge's dining room, and breakfast 3 times. I was surprised that the prices were very reasonable, given their exclusive access to in-park dining. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food, and the wait staff was pleasant and attentive. The old lodge is un-airconditoned, but it was comfortable with the windows open. The atmostphere is... More

For dinner, be sure to get on the list early. They do not take reservations, and we thought we should be ready to go before getting on the list. Mistake! We had about an hour and a half wait. Breakfast is also good, and they are not nearly so busy--we just walked up and were seated immediately and served quickly.

We had lunch and dinner at BC Lodge today and both were very good. For dinner we arrived at 6:30 and only had to wait ten minutes. The people who arrived just after ushad to wait more than half an hour. Service was cheerful, competent and quick. This is a place (or rather, the subcontractor) that does not care about... More

This lodge is run by Forever Resorts and it was clearly a step above the dining in other national parks I've visited. The Salmon was wild caught and if a beer lover try the "Haywire" Hefenweisen form Pyramid Brewery.

This was a surprise, but the food at this little lodge is very good. The burger was excellent and so was the pork at dinner. The menu is limited but filled with better options than most in park lodges. This is not some grand lodge, though, so be warned that the dinning hall is small and seating is limited... expect... This lodge/restaurant is now managed by Forever Resorts and I think it is an improvement over Xanterra. Buffet lunch of salad bar, fresh fruit, pastas, sauces, Italian sausages and breadsticks was a great value for $12. We split the carrot cake for dessert, very moist and flavorful. Another day we had soup, sandwiches with choice of FF, pasta salad or... More

We visited the Bryce Canyon Lodge for lunch. My husband had the pasta buffet which was good. I ordered the black bean burger. It was homemade and by far, the best black bean burger I've ever had. It was heavy on the garlic but really good. If we were in the park another day, I probably would have done it... More

We enjoyed both a lunch and dinner at the lodge. Very good food and excellent attentive service both times (maybe they saw the bad reviews and got their act together). The lodge dates back to the 1920's, and they've maintained it nicely, so you enjoy a historical setting too. The prices were a bit high ($8-14 for lunch, and averaging... More

My wife and I ate at the Bryce Canyon Lodge three times the first week of April, twice for dinner and once for lunch. The food in general was good. I had steak and prime rib, both were excellent. Good selection of local beers. However, the service was in general not good. My wife's food for both dinners had to... More
