Overrated and overpriced

Our room was sparse and worth 1/2 the price we were charged. Food was expensive and very average. Bryce Canyon is magnificent but lodging at the state park lodge is not an incremental benefit with paying for, if we return, we would stay outside the park.

Well you can go eat outside of the lodge to places you have already been to, that you will have no memory of. Then you can just stick to the dining room at Bryce Canyon Lodge and call it a day. It's part of the ambiance of being at Bryce Canyon. Take yourself back in time, slow down and enjoy!!

Had lunch at Bryce Canyon Lodge after spending all morning hiking. We got there a few minutes before it opened and already a line was forming to get in. But once it opened, they moved everyone in quite quickly. Service was fast and attentive. Food was good, although nothing spectacular. Elk chili was particularly nice after we had done all... More

I always enjoy Eggs Benedict and The Lodge has a nice menu in an historic setting of the Bryce Canyon National Park.

If you're in the park around lunch time and need a place to warm up (like we did, it was snowing and very cold), this is a great place to have lunch. Prices are reasonable, food and service is good, and it's a national park lodge. You can't go wrong!

Liked everything about this historical looking Lodge. Rented some mules to ride down into the canyon. That's a trip for someone not afraid of heights. Great place to take in the views of the canyon. Bring your teenagers. They will love it!

After a morning of hiking, this is a great place to relax and have lunch. The atmosphere is quite a contrast to the hiking trail. There really isn't much dining options in the Bryce area. Ruby's Inn is OK, but not great, and way too many tourists. So if you want something nice, this is pretty much the only option.... More

Staying at the lodge, this was a nice and convenient place for dinner and breakfast. Helpful attentive friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good selections. We enjoyed our food and desserts -- the restaurant was a little better than our expectations of a national park concession.

This place caters to busloads of folks. You can expect that kind of fare. At least we didn't go hungry!
