Lunch renewal

We ate lunch at the lodge after a morning hiking the rim. The waiter was very helpful and offered suggestions. The lunch salad bar was extensive, including hot and cold sandwiches you could fashion yourself. I opted for grilled veggie pita since I can never eat enough to offset the cost of a... read more

Dinner at the Bryce Canyon Lodge was a very pleasant surprise!! The menu is extensive and the service was excellent!! John our server was wonderful!!! I had the flank steak and my husband had the rack of lamb. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious!! We shared a salad and a desert and both were excellent. We have dined at many... More

There isn't much choice when eating in a National Park. The lodge in Bryce has a single restaurant and the food is similar to that of the North Rim Grand Canyon Lodge as they are operated by the same company. The menu was virtually the same. This is more of a dining hall so you miss the ambiance that make... More

We stayed at the campground, but due to a thunderstorm we couldn't cook there. This restaurant turned out to be a very good alternative. We both enjoyed the soup and the main / entree thoroughly. I had Black Birch Braised Beef Short Ribs, which was delicious. A definite recommendation if you want something else than diner food.

Arlie and I went to the Lodge restaurant for lunch after a morning hike below the rim. It was uncrowded, the service was attentive and friendly, and it made for a highly civilized and enjoyable cap to a great morning at Bryce Canyon.

My wife and I spent two nights at Bryce in one of the motel like rooms. We ate dinner at the Lodge both nights and found it very satisfying. The food was enjoyable and the waiter's attentive. There is a satisfactory wine list and the menu offers a variety of fish and beef (or bison) dishes. Desserts also did not... More

The Lodge is the place to eat in Bryce Canyon. Located inside the park very close to the Canyon Views. The wait staff is very good. The food is fresh with a varied menu.

This is a very good National Park restaurant, and the only decent place to eat for miles around. The food is between good and very good (my Short Rib of Beef was gorgeous), and service was good. The room is large and airy, and can get full at peak times, but at other times there is always space to be... More

Very respectable for a National Park restaurant - had both dinner and breakfast there. A little pricey, but to be expected in National Park. Liked it better that Zion Park Lodge restaurant.

Looking at the other reviews I have to wonder if these folks all dined in the same restaurant. For us, it was delightful. Our waiter was very helpful, explaining things in detail. The restaurants theme fit the lodge so well - healthy foods and preparations, local game, thoughtful, creative, delicious taste combinations. Several entrees were available in half-portions which was... More
