Nice atomsphere but expensive

We ate in the lodge restaurant because we didn't want to leave the park. We peeked at the menu in advance to try and find things that were less than $25 per person. Options are limited under that price - our family of 4 made meals of appetizers and soup or salad. Food was good and we loved the... read more

Staying at the Lodge there, there weren't a whole lot of options as far as where to eat. We were very pleased with what we got. They have recently become a "green" restaurant so a lot of the menu options were organic, all-natural and as a result - delicious. I had the Dover Sole special and it was really good.... More

The lodge serves the kind of hearty, stick-to-your-ribs meals you want after a hike. Everything is fresh and nicely prepared. Portions are very large so you may want to share... especially with kids. We had several meals there and found everything quite good. Short ribs are a standout. Servers are so nice and professional.

We ate here twice during our one night stay. Dinner was great. Our drinks were constantly refreshed and our bread refilled. We mainly had the linguine while my son had the kids prime rib. All great. The desserts were delicious. Breakfast was the same. Big servings and the prices were reasonable for the location. Would eat here again!

We had dinner here twice and breakfast twice. All meals were excellent food. Pricey, but you're on vacation when you're here so.... I had the trout and bison stew. Can't say enough good things. Food came quickly and the server was so friendly. Breakfast was off the menu and as good as I've had anywhere. Reasonable prices for breakfast. Would... More

Don't be impressed with menu items labeled Elk or whatever romantic adjectives they come up with. I had breakfast here two times and lunch one time. I do recommend it. It's good hot food. Good service and a fun atmosphere. It's great to do the queens garden loop right after 10 minutes after sunrise and have a nice hearty breakfast... More

They don't take reservations. Dining room looked fairly empty but we were told there would be a 45 min wait. Once seated it started out good. Wait staff appeared attentive and accommodating but as dinner progressed service slowed down extremely. Guessing they were understaffed. We had the linguine, bison stew and short ribs. Linguine and short ribs were very good.... More

We had dinner here twice. The first time we had absolutely horrible service with server Chad from WA state. Long wait for dinner after ordering. Chad clearly forgot to drop our order after we asked about allergens. Then he made excuses instead of taking ownership. Then he charged us for two soups versus the one ordered and served, and acted... More

The restaurant in the Lodge at Bryce Canyon is pretty high-end for a national park. The food is organic, healthy, etc,. and the prices show it. Dinners run in the $20-30 range, per person. Portions are OK but not huge. If you're hungry, add a soup or side salad. The food is, however, very good. The menu is large and... More

We stopped for a quick lunch on the second day the lodge restaurant was open for the season. The hostess seemed very overwhelmed with her duties, causing a long line of people waiting to be seated. At first we felt invisible sitting at our table, but shortly a very friendly and apologetic waitress took our order. She was very attentive,... More
