When tootling about the Mountain you simply must drop in to the iconic St Bernards Hotel for a beer or two at some stage during your stay. A gorgeous touch is the real live St Bernard dog sound asleep at the front door! Mind your step though cos she doesn't move for you and you've gotta step over the top... More

The food is awesome! Such great sizes and quality of food. Very tasty and worth the money you pay for it. The atmosphere is awesome. Great to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The dogs are beautiful, such gentle giants, they mainly sleep all the time though but there are beautiful to go up to for a little pat. I... More

Lunch with a view was what I was looking for and I found it at St Bernards! I enjoyed a delicious ploughmans lunch while sitting outside in the sun admiring the views over the mountains. The food was great and the view was wonderful. The service was good, however we weren't really sure where to order or whether to just... More

Wonderfully bistro meal and the service was great. Dinner by an open fire. Lovely. The soup ( leek and bacon) was just yummy. I would have gone back for seconds but not sure if this is allowed

one of the few restaurants open mid week on the mountain - basically self serve with limited staff, not particularly helpful. Pub style atmosphere - quasi European with chunky furniture - closed in outdoor seating area - since it was night could not appreciate the view. Food selection was very limited - the specialty beef shiraz pie was quiet good... More

Enjoyed a delicious cauliflower soup for lunch while looking out over the expansive views. The hotel is located in the perfect position to enjoy a lazy Sunday lunch while looking out over the mountains. The meals are of a really good size and reasonable price. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. You can't help but unwind and... More

Great view! However the food was poor! For the price you spend on the food you are better off going to another local restaurant! Very expensive and no quality in meals.

The climb through the hills to Mount Tamborine is beautiful and once you arrive at St. Bernards Hotel it is well worth stopping for a quiet drink and/or meal. The restaurant and outdoor eating area overlook the most beautiful hill views with the gardens nestled into the side of the hill. We were lucky and quite a few of the... More

Only 30 min drive from the Gold Coast Tamborine offers a real difference. St Bernards has been operating for 70 years plus. Judging by the crowd on this Sunday it is still popular. It offers an old world experience with over the top prices. It is pub food at restaurant prices. View is good but there are much better on... More

Firstly lets just say when I told people I was heading to Tamborine several friends recommended this place and I wasn't disappointed. The place was lovely with a great view and we got to pat the big St Bernards which was a highlight for my wife. I got the cheese kranskys for lunch and my wife got the fish and... More
