Warm and Friendly

Girl on the counter was a bit rude when I ordered and needed a slight change to a meal due to allergies. It seemed like quite the effort to simply write "remove cheese". Unfortunately my partner received the wrong meal and was made to sit and wait 20 minutes for the meal that he actually ordered... read more

I had the pleasure of dining at St Bernard's Hotel tonight and selected the t-bone dish for dinner. Cooked to perfection and served with chips and salad. A generous and delicious meal enjoyed in cosy surrounds by the fireplace. Christmas in July themed dining room with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree made for a very welcoming dining experience. I would... More

Loved just as much by the locals, people come from everywhere to visit St. Bernard's hotel. Renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and hearty meals as well as the widespread hinterland views, St Bernard's Hotel offers the perfect location for weddings and other private functions too. They also offer accomodation so you can turn your day trip up to Mt Tamborine... More

I ordered pumpkin soup and got tomato with no apology or explanation. I wouldn't have minded except it had bacon in it and I'm vegetarian. My partner had the parmy and said that was really good.

Went there on a Monday to book a party of 24 for a get together on the following Sunday. Spoke to the chef and a lady who appeared in charge of weddings, was promised the Marquee and organised a menu for our guests. Arrived the following Sunday, the Marquee was full with the public, lots of dirty tables and scraps everywhere,... More

Very average. Lovely view - definitely the most redeeming quality of the visit. Also am a big fan of dogs so playing with the St. Bernard was a great bonus! $10 for 2 soft drinks. $50/$55 for 2 very underwhelming lunches which came out about an hour after we'd ordered. I don't mind waiting but only if the food is... More

We visited in a group of 16, 6 people ate within 30 minutes, 4 in an hour and the last 6 in 1 hour 30 minutes! Do not order food here as you will starve due to poor staffing and a lack of any organisational skills! Find a nice restaurant instead!

This hotel was quite expensive to eat at. The staff were friendly however it took some time for the food to be delivered to the table. We ate in the evening and could see the lights from the Gold Coast through the trees. We were greeted at the entry by a large friendly St Bernard dog. The food was pretty... More

St Bernard's lived up to it's name with the most gorgeous docile dog in the front foyer to great guests. As a large group that pre booked we had been set up with one super large table in our own private area of the terrace with the most magnificent views. The foods was terrific and great portion sizes, from the... More

Visited a couple of months ago and the lunch was not pleasant. Reluctantly joined a large group of friends there today and was very pleasantly surprised as the food was fabulous. Great views, good food (now), love the 'guard' dog and greeter geese
