Tasty Indian food. We like our food to be "Indian" hot so the hot wasn't hot enough for us. Though the staff were very helpful and supplied us with extra chillies, which was just the kick the meals needed.

My husband and I had a really delicious meal here. I am extremely fussy about Indian food but could not fault the flavours or the choice of dishes on offer. The service was wonderful and the restaurant was quiet enough that we could easily have a conversation which is often not the case in Sydney where we come from. I... More

Very flavoursome and fresh and the meat ,the lamb we have is always tender not chewy . When we get take aways we always get this cause they know how to do it with flavour . I'm fussy , and I enjoy the food here. Definately try it if you like Indian.

Loved it - the food was up there with the best I have eaten, the service was impeccable and the pricing fair.

We have eaten here regularly for about five years, visiting with family whenever we visit the mountain. The food is very tasty with authentic spicing (based on our travels in India, as well as a couple of decades in London, where Indian food is a national obsession). It isn't the cheapest menu but you can clearly taste that they use... More

We are locals and have struggled in the past to recommend a place for quality food or somewhere to dine out with visitors when they visit the mountain. Masala Shanti is simply put - our place to go to. Able to meet the needs of those with very mild palates and those who like spicy & hot food. The sauces... More

When travelling to Mt Tamborine you must try this little gem. Absolutely beautiful Indian food, we think the best we have ever had and we have tried a few. Service was excellent and lots of choices. The restaurant was packed both nights we were there as well as running a large number of take-aways. Don't miss this oe.

Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. I had the sweet lasi for a drink which i enjoyed. We had an entree with bread and 3 dips, very nice. Our main consisted of Chicken Vindaloo (mild) which was the best I have ever tasted however we were quite disappointed with the Butter Chicken as the meat was rubbery and hard and... More
