Lovely Indian Restaurant in the middle of the rainforest in Queensland! We love the ambience. If you love chilli, you can ask for an extra chilli paste on the side.... and it's wicked! This restaurant is not bad at all and we enjoyed it!

Indian food is not my favourite cuisine but I might have to change my mind after eating at Masala Shanti. Five of us went out on a Thursday night after the restaurant had been recommended to us. The food was varied, delicately spiced, and absolutely delicious. Try the prawns - they were to die for. However, every dish was delicious.... More

Read the reviews and decided to have dinner there, we were not disappointed! Food was fantastic, with a lot of dishes you don't normally find in most Indian restaurants. Decent amount of spice in the dishes, and they offer byo wine as well. Highly recommended, we will be going back on another trip.

We have Indian food often, this is a lovely place and the food is very good though it is quiet expensive in comparison to other Indian restaurants we go to.

The food at this restuarant is absolutely fantastic. Right amount of spice and heat and so tasty. We love Indian food but rarely find a restuarant that meets our expectations however Masala not only met them they exceeded them! the staff were also very nice and really friendly. FYI, that this is not a licenced restuarant.

Convenient, well- priced, excellent food and service. BYO 2 mins walk from our B&B. Recommended by our hosts and we fully endorse their suggestions re. where to go to eat out.

Party of 4 visited March 2015 to celebrate a birthday. Venue and staff pleasant but food extremely poor. My chicken vindaloo can only be described as vile it was so salty to the extent I drank 3 litres of water that night through thirst. Poppadoms and naan bread both dry and tasteless plus onion bhaji starters stodgy and inedible. We ate... More

From the moment we walked in we were hit in the face by the beautiful smell of spices from the kitchen. Ambiance was very nice, service was excellent and the food was probably some of the best indian food we have tasted, Full of flavour with generous servings. If you like indian food this is a must.

We were able to get a last minute reservation, on a busy weekend. Staff were very friendly and the food was of a high standard. Service was attentive and dispite being last customers, we weren't rushed at the end of the night.
