A special little place

A step into times gone-by! I visited for High Tea with a large group. The service is personable and the staff take time to have a quick chat even in busy times, without neglecting other customers- a skill rare to find. Despite the hectic rain on Friday I had arranged to pick up my Grandma and take her out for a few hours. Having already visited Tea & Niceties I thought it would be a lovely place to stop by for Devonshire tea. I was very disappointed to see they had closed as some staff members weren't able to make it... More

My new wife and I elected to have breakfast here on the last day of our honeymoon. The gardens are beautiful, the place screams of elegance and the devonshire tea is divine. These three things add up to a captivatingly pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and attentive and this addsto the experience. I would not hesitate to recommend visitors... More

I would like to thank the staff of this wonderful restaurant for the exquisite experience had by my fiancée and I on Valentine's day. As expected the place was very busy, however from the initial stroll through the amazing rainforest gardens, the beautiful 2 person swing slung beneath a tortured old Fig tree, we knew this was going to be... Despite our initial experience with the outside café being mediocre at best we decided to try the $60PP High Tea for as a valentines/birthday special occasion. Our first impression of the service was "okay sit where you like" then plonked some menu's on our table and disappeared. Nobody explained anything about how things worked or what we got for our... What a top spot for a Devonshire tea. Beautiful fresh hot scones with real cream sitting in the lovely gardens. couldn't of asked for a better place for Valentine's Day. Friendly service, good prices and just a lovely setting. Curtis falls walk next door which is a lovely walk.

We were enchanted by this beautiful tea cafe. It was the devonshire tea we spent ages trying to find in Mt T. the others were poorly presented. Over priced and just wanting to make an easy buck from the tourists. Not so this beautiful little place. Exquisite designs, magnificent gardens. Great choice of real teas in beautiful tea pots. We...
