Exceptional!

I took a friend here for lunch on the 19th of December, 2014. We entered from around the back where there is plenty of easy parking and a level graded path to the restaurant area through delightful gardens. Though in our latter years, we stopped to enjoy the lovely wide two at a time swing and... read more

this was really lovely, very nicely set out and with bone china tea services. Unfortunately we didn't realise that you had to pre-order a high tea so instead of having that we had a Devonshire tea which I have to say was very good indeed. Would love to go there for a high tea as I think it would be... More

Excellent in every respect. Food is delicious with good variety and there is plenty of food. We took home a doggy bag. The tea is interesting, very well presented with a very knowledgeable owner. The grounds are beautiful and complement the food and tea. There is a nice little walk at the back of the restaurant for an after tea... More

Cafes are sooo fickle on Mt Tamborine. Few have a mountain/rainforest ambience. Tea and Niceties has it all! Although a high tea and functions place, the cafe here is what I want to rave about! As a regular visitor from the city to Mt T, I love to have a daily coffee in a cafe. The cafe at Tea and... More

Such a gorgeous place, Tea & Niceties is located in a quiet spot away from the main streets on Mount Tamborine and is any tea lovers dream come true. Although I've only eaten at the cafe outside the tea room, I keep going back!! The food is simple but delicious, the atmosphere is calming and the staff are just lovely!... More

Very happy with my first visit. The grounds are beautiful and I ate at the cafe. The food was very good (I had the smashed feta and avocado and my son had the hot breakfast) We had devonshire tea as well and there was enough for 4 cups of tea in the pot.

We went walking at Curtis Falls on Mt Tamborine and called in at Teas & Niceties afterward. It is set in lovely gardens and made for a relaxing lunch. The service was pleasant although a little slow, The food and teas were excellent. We would have loved to have kicked back and relaxed there for longer.

I've been here a number of times over the years with family and friends for high tea. It's a delightful place to go with your mum, sister or girlfriends for a special occassion: think pink roses, tinted pink sugar, and dainty little cakes and treats. You do need to book in advance but you are treated like a special guest... More

We had Tea & Niceties make the cakes for our wedding. We had a selection of various flavoured cupcakes and macaroons as well as our main cake at the top. They were all absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented. The flavour and colours were great and perfectly fit our reception. And there were plenty to go around. The hand crafted... More
