This place was recommended by David, the owner of Witches Falls Cottages, and we are happy he did. It was so cute and quaint, and the food was great. The fire was lit and it was very enjoyable and romantic.

We had been before and loved it, and this time was no exception. The food was glorious, and the staff and surroundings were sublime. An excellent place for a romantic dinner.

We came here for a special dinner and we weren't disappointed. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The only thing I found strange was the interior arrangement - a third of the room was empty, with the tables situated in a kind of semi circle around couches facing a fire. We eventually went and sat by the... More

eclectic local menu with regional wines, reasonably priced. Knowledgeable wait staff. Meal portions smaller (typically $15-25) or full size (typ mid $30-40's) enjoyed sampling several of the smaller size dishes; well presented. Choices like crumbed lamb brains, pan fried quail, slow roasted five spice duck, slow braised pork belly, oven roasted lamb - all with different accompaniments. fireplace in winter... More

Went here for dinner on a Sunday night - friendly service, fabulous food, and despite being a large open room the ambience was pleasant, especially with the open fire

We had the gnocchi and beef, with the sticky date for dessert, everything was superb, the accompaniments for the mains were spot on. The sticky date texture was perfect, the music and the ambience excellent

We dined here and found the old church to be a very very nice venue. There was a lovely fire place and a great big couch to sit by the fire in the dining room. The waitress was a little busy hence we received our entree before having our wine and another couple whom came in after us got their... More

We were recommended to The Old Church and we are so glad we went. Quaint little restaurant with beautiful open fire place. The food was fine dining standard with a good selection and even a separate vegetarian section on the menu. Nice selection of local wines. Service was friendly and inviting. My only little issue was they don't have bread... More
