Two of us had a light lunch the other day. I had a Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese sandwich which came with some fresh salad and was delicious , maybe the bloomer bread a bit on the thick side. My colleague had the lunchtime 'small' fish and chips, also well executed with good crisp batter on the fish although the... More

We found Irby Mill on the Internet and came from London to take our Mum out for Mothering Sunday lunch. We were slightly nervous as it was just somewhere we "found" on the Internet. We needn't have been nervous because it was perfect. Not frilly or pretentious just great food and lovely staff. Quite frankly what else do you need?... More

Only stayed for a pint mid afternoon, but we had two different ales and coffees. What I liked about it was it's atmosphere, clean and tidy areas. The beers were how they should be kept and served...it's nice to see a landlord who can wait for beers to settle before serving. Well done.

Really surprised how great the food was here , not been for long while must have changed hands since last visited. The fish and chips was fantastic, lovely and fresh crisp batter and good chips. Excellent value for money and very welcoming service.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff - a proper pub. Sausage board to share - can't go wrong! Worth booking a table - often very busy

Went on our first visit to the Irby Mill had the Sunday Roast which was superb. The roasties were really crispy and lots of them, vegetables were cooked to perfection. The staff where very attentive and the whole experience is highly recommended.

Hubby & I called in the Irby pub on the off chance of getting a table as we'd heard so much about it. Small friendly local pub, with quite a good menu. Nice atmosphere, but service very slow in between each course. One time hubby had to go and find a waitress to order a dessert, even though they had... More
