Go before it's gone!

Always been a good little country pub but in recent time the highlight as been the food cooked by a young contender for Wirral chef of the year. The food is excellent so do visit before the inevitable happens and he moves on!

Warm dog friendly proper pub. Excellent choice of beers & great food. Especially Sunday roast. Quaint older style but bigger than you would think. Great when close to the fire on chilly days. Really nice beer garden. Excellent friendly staff.

My family and I visited one Sunday for lunch. We all had different meals and the food was lovely. The staff were very attentive and checked that we did need any more drinks etc. We have visited a few times and have never had any complaints regarding the food or staff. The inside of the pub is cosy and is... More

A very nice pub for a drink, if you can squash past those at the bar, or find a seat. What I object to with this places is this, the two dining rooms are in the dark ages. The mismatched chairs look as though the local junk shops have been raided, the tables old, dark brown tongue and grove halfway... More

Not very exciting food, very bland. Staff very stuck up and rude. Heard one of the older ladies making sarcastic comment about customer as she walked away from them. Wont be returning. Didn't feel very welcome!

Food was ok. Bit bland but edible. Not to expensive for lunch. Staff not very welcoming because we had a child with us. 1 older member of staff made remarks about having a child. Disappointing. Wont be going back with or without children!

A good welcome both for humans and animals, good choice on menu although getting a little expensive now, delivered with good service and a smile. What more can you ask for.

Another trip to the Wirral and another visit to the Irma Mill pub. We went on a Saturday evening with our Mum and the pub was really busy. We arrived 15 minutes early but our table was ready and we went straight through. The waitress took our drinks order and then left us to take a look at the extensive... More
