Just had an a beautiful meal at the irby mill. The food is gorgeous. Lovely home made hearty pub grub. Had the chicken pie. My hubby had the Cajun chicken and the kids had ham egg and chips. Everything was spot on. Food, service, value. Much better than any pub chain. Well done irby mill!

This is a great country pub, lovely old interior and great food. The staff are helpful and friendly. Dogs are welcome but it's so popular you do need to be in early to get yourself a seat in the 'dogs allowed' areas. Worth a trip and if you do visit with dogs a walk at the lovely Wirral Country Park... More

My first experience of the Irby Mill will certainly not be the last! Visited with a friend on a wednesday lunch time. We'd heard good things about the Irby Mill from different friends and work colleagues, so we thought we'd give it a go. The pub was reasonably busy, and approaching we were served immediately by Alex, who was very... More

A lovely little gem of a pub, cosy low ceilings with beams. I would advise pre booking for the restaurant, as most of the table had reserved on them. The menu is not overly large and I would have liked more choice too be honest. But what we had was lovely and more importantly all the food was freshly cooked... More

Visiting the Wirral on business and felt I had to check this place out. Was not disappointed; great pint of ale - Irby Mill Pale - and a hearty meal. This is a cosy, warm pub, with a friendly landlord, Andy. Well worth a detour.

The Irby Mill is one of my local pubs but is off the beaten track. it is a real old world pub in a beautiful building with low beams. It has a warm, inviting and cozy atmosphere. The food is absolutely fabulous in quality, quantity and value for money. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone coming to The... More
