Visited the Who'd a Thought it recently for a family meal out to celebrate my husband's birthday. Have visited many times before and have never been disappointed. We were lucky enough to have wonderful warm, sunny weather so were able to take full advantage of alfresco dining on the lovely sunny terrace. The service was friendly and efficient and the food as... More

I went here for a family meal and was so disappointed I will never go back. The meal was very average, the service was poor. I asked for a salt pot to be changed and they brought me three before they found one with salt in it.

I had a sunday roast dinner in the bar which was good quality and proved to be value for money (assuming that you have a large appetite that is).

We spent a really lovely Sunday lunch with relatives. We have used this restaurant before for very special occasions. The food was really good everyone was impressed with their Sunday lunch, price for lunch good - wine costs a little excessive. Our only complaint was the manager kept 'prowling' trying to get us into the restaurant before we wanted to... More

We were in the area house hunting and needed some lunch. We had prior knowledge of this Pub, but not for over 10 years. The reception from the owners was very friendly and chatty. The food was excellent as was the Beer!! The Menu was wide ranging, and I chose Fish and Chips that were in the top 5 of... More

We ate here on the strong recommendation of family who eat here often. The food is beautifully presented and although there was definitely nothing wrong with our meals, nor was there anything outstanding. The jewel in this restaurant's crown is their very friendly and helpful waiting staff.

Ate here on Sunday and was very impressed, good attentive service from the staff Food was exceptionally good, all members of my party thoroughly enjoyed their choices. I had Oysters followed by a Crab meat starter then Flat iron steak, with roasted cherry tomatoes, spinach, three times cooked chips. Washed down with a home made sticky toffee pudding. Will definitely... More

We only went to the hotel to meet friends for lunch but will definitely bear it in mind for a weekend break. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. The menu includes a two or three course lunch option for a very reasonable price and it was really very good. Its quite a way from... More

We have just returned home having enjoyed an excellent lunch. The Chef needs to be congratulated on his accomplished cookery skills, we had venison which was both tender, tasty and cooked to perfection and fillet steak which again was prepared to a similar high standard. We decided on the cheese plate to end our meal and how refreshing it is... More

We have discovered this restaurant which not the normal local pub grub. The menu is different and interesting, presentation superb and excellent value. Definitely recommend a visit, we have been at a weekend and during the week and each time the same great standard of food. The interior design may not be to everyone's taste but creates a great and... More
