Nice stop on the outskirts of Star Valley

Stopped in here with friends that frequent DPS often, for dinner, and had a good experience. The restaurant was quite crowded the night that we went as there was a large wedding reception party that was just leaving and large birthday party that was just getting started. The wait staff did an... read more

I have eaten here over 30 years and everyone around here knows this is the best steak within 100 miles or 1000 miles. I've had the whole menu many times over and you can't help but choose right. The lamb, ribs, salmon is fantastic. Great house Cabernet . Fillet Mignon amazing.

I live in the area and there aren't many restaurants nearby. Last time I went to Diamond Point Shadows was on my birthday December 2012. The relish plate contained Already Been Chewed veggies. That was enough to turn me off.

The restaurant looks like I imagine it looked like 30 years ago. They have really good prime rib on Saturdays.

Consistently good food - although rarely top flight. Love the atmosphere - kinda mountain/cowboy. This place has been here a quarter century - at least. It has quite a tradition. Be aware that it can become crowded during summer weekends. Lots of locals and folks from the "valley" (like Phoenix). Wine list varies from good to excellent. Just ask for... More

The food is always good - if not especially great. A real plus. Honest. The free salad plate with crackers before dinner is a nice plus. The wine list varies from adequate to super. Just ASK for "other wines". The atmosphere is mountain-rustic with huge crowds during the summer weekends. Friday Fishfry is always full. I love their fresh cod and... More

When you drive up to this restaurant you feel you are driving up to a "hole in the wall" place. When you enter you find a quiet rustic dining atmosphere with a fire place. The service is good and the food is really good. This is a nice steak house. they serve a relish tray instead of bread. We like... More
