My wife and I visited the Hunters Inn on impulse, having wanted to do so since we moved to the area. Glad we did as the food is fabulous and worth the trip . Service attentive but not intrusive, and friendly

This is the second time that I have visited this pub restaurant. The last time was with two dogs in tow and had a lovely afternoon meal in the snug. So impressed by the food and atmosphere that this time I returned for a pre-Christmas meal with a friend and her mother. My friend is gluten intolerant so the offer... More

The choice on the menu was brilliant, as it was a Sunday, we had the Sunday roast....beef for me and pork for him. The Yorkshires were huge! the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, hot and tasty, and the sticky toffee pudding is the best we have ever had! The staff were smiley and friendly, We met the chef, Mr Mark... More

Visited here with 35 ladies for a Xmas meal. We ore ordered the food, which was reasonably priced. Food arrived hot and on time by friendly and polite staff. Chicken in the main was a little odd tasting. Dessert was lovely (banana chocolate cake). Atmosphere was lovely and the place clean. Only downside, a pint of lager and win cost... More

After hearing good reports about the Hunters Inn a group of us thought we would book for a night out. Firstly I found that the menu choice was poor, unless you want deep fried food or steak pretty much everything else has cheese in it, so if u are not a fan of cheese this does not leave many options.... Having been recommended by the holiday cottage owners at the Webbery Estate , we arrived on a wet late October Tuesday evening to a fairly busy car park - always a good sign . A good , warm welcome and a varied , well priced & extensive menu all washed down with my favourite St.Austell brewery Tribute bitter for me... More

Food was tasty, fresh and generous portions. It was very busy with a bustling atmosphere when we arrived but went a bit flat as people left. Good food though!
