Good food, good service

We had dinner here on one of the evenings in Barolo. As most of the other restaurants in Barolo, this is traditional Piemonte style food. The food was good and the winelist good. Very friendly service. A good meal but not extraordinaire

My husband and I had dinner at Rossobarolo. Excellent wines, good Italian food, yet not really presented as pretty as it could but the taste of the menu was excellent. Tender beef and fresh fish in the two main courses, creamy goat cheese in the starter. The dessert not my best dessert in Italy. We sat at their terrace which... More

Enjoyed a very good dinner with good local food and wine. Helpful personal and a good choice of wines. The prosciutto and brazzata were very good, and the deserts also top quality. You should try out this resturant of in Barolo.

Had lunch, with a wonderful goat cheese salad, raviolo and a sabayonne. Great wine, good service and nice atmosphere!

We sat in the garden at the back of the restaurant and were served by a very friendly waitress. She was very helpful with our wine selection, which turned out to be off, so they were very gracious and exchanged it for a different wine, which was very nice. The food was lovely and it was nice to see the... More

We wandered into Rossobarolo for dinner on a hot July evening and were greatly rewarded! We chose ham and melon to start -- so generous with this gorgeous ham and perfect for a summer meal. Then we each had a goat cheese and hazelnut salad. There were many tempting dishes on this fine menu including an amazing cheese trolley, and... More

Cozy, friendly Piedmont restaurant with a short but excellent menu. If you want spaghetti and meatballs go back to Kansas, Dorothy. Everything here is traditional Piedmont. Service is very friendly and knowledgable if a bit slow.

It is the 3rd time we go to this restaurant. Meals are very well prepared. As an entrée, I suggest you try the plate that comes with small portions of many traditional antipasti from the region. The pasta and the meals based on meat are very good, but I do recommend the Vitello Tonnato. Delicious! Staff and owner are very... More

My wife and I came here for a Sunday lunch. Make sure you get a reservation in their lower level dining area, which is essentially their cellar. What a lovely and happening atmosphere!! For lunch we had the tajarin with white alba truffle, veal shank and the egg frittata. Great quality. For the wine lovers, their selection was decent AND... More

We were in Barolo for four nights and had dinner there twice. I dined here several times in 2012 so I was looking forward to doing so again. The menu was pretty much the same as I remembered but there were some changes. I wanted my wife to try the Traditional Appetizer assortment that I had enjoyed several times. The... More
