By day the Pitchfork Restaurant has the atmosphere of a pleasant sidewalk cafe located in the small village square at Peregian Beach with pedestrians mingling with diners as they pass by. By night the dark green blinds enclosing the outdoor tables and the small fairy lights change the ambience markedly and the food--the food is fit for the gods.It probably... More

The title of the review says it all. The food here was really exceptional and combined with friendly and attentive service you really should give it a try. Food is probably best described as French. Wine list is great too but you do have the option of BYO during the week.

Went out for dinner for a birthday celebration - and desert was a must so we opted for main and desert only. Just as well as mains (duck special, beef and fish and chips) were substantial and full of flavour. We did order a side of truffled mash and it was gorgeous - silky smooth and tasting and smelling delicious... More

These guys have got it right. We have had many meals here over the years and today returned for my sister's birthday. Nothing to fault. We had excellent service and a beautiful meal. The goats cheese with walnuts is a regular on their menu as it should be. We also had the sausage stuffed olives, delish! My entree of gnocchi... More

It's always a hard choice between Harvest and Pitchfork but at the moment I think Pitchfork my just be ahead. We drive a long way to go to either place for dinner. The menu at Pitchfork caters for everyone. Big flavours, ample portions, and the freshest produce.

Probably the best steak and truffle mash you will ever encounter. Located in the "old shops" at Peregian Beach. Oh yeah - don't bother too much with Noosa :)

We were going to go Friday but now they only accept BYO weeknights we went Thursday and were surprised to see how full it was. Perhaps all the value seekers had the same idea. Sat inside, winters night. We all had either the scallops or the octopus as entree - all beautifully cooked and presented, 3 of us had the... More

Excellent food with a good variety of choice and very friendly wait staff. A very nice change from the standard Hastings Street fare.

5 of us dined at Pitchfork recently and thoroughly enjoyed everything. A little tricky to find but don't let that put you off. I had the scallops which were fresh and plump, beautifully seared with delicious watercress puree, the lamb belly which had been recommended was even better than i'd expected. I really couldn't imaging fitting desert in but when... More

Yes the chef is from a top class Restaurant from nearby but one wonders if he cooks every time I visit. 5 visits - 3 excellent and 2 very average. Last visit 2 weeks ago was for lunch. Great service. Every dish was overpriced for what was served. My dish of pasta was in a bowl laying on top of... More
