Not hand cut chips

Would have given 5 stars if chips were hand cut, which was disappointing for a restaurant of this normally high standards.

I am a local, so I eat here often. It is always a special treat and the service is friendly without being over attentive. Don't expect classic Aussie food, but a wonderful fusion of international cooking. The food is seriously good... tasty, interesting and perfectly balanced with great wines and puddings. The setting is a lovely beach-village square out of... More

We have been to Pitchfork a number of times and had a very good dining experience each time. The service can be a bit slow at times but on Saturday nights they are normally very busy and this could be the reason-but not an excuse! The prices are bit on the high side together with a $10 corkage charge but... More

We had a beautiful lunch in this most relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and were only too happy to assist with anything we needed. My husband and I would gladly return and recommend pitchfork to all who ask.

You can go to many places in all of the 'big smokes' all over the world and be hard put to find anything as good as this. It is always reliable, has great service and a lovely beachside ambience. Set in the charming viilage atmosphere of Peregian you can choose to sit outside or inside or just at the bar.... More

I visited Pitchfork with a group of friends last week. The menu is modern Australian, with Asian and European influences. All 6 of us enjoyed our meal although some experienced serious food envy over the celeriac and bug salad which was sensational, as was the crab and chilli linguini. It was worth pushing our stomachs to the limit to share... More

A group of seven of us return each year to this lovely restaurant. We sat outside this year and enjoyed the whole experience again. We found the staff knowledgeable and efficient, friendly but not intrusive. All our food was delicious. I had the Moreton Bay bugs which were perfect and all our party found their meals of a very high... More

As always, Pitchfork impressed us. An early Valentine's Day dinner was made perfect with drinks on the house (a nice gesture because our table wasn't quite ready) and a lovely spot under the fairy lights. The staff were very knowledgeable and my allergies were not a problem at all. They didn't push desserts and coffees like many places do and... More

Our friends ( locals ) invited us to dine with them here at Pitchfork. They are regular diners here & love it!! It had also been recommended to me by family in Brisbane. We loved the whole experience; the outdoor seating, the location in the square, the menu, the service, the delicious food ( one of the best steaks I've... More

All the food looked amazing. The staff were friendly, helpful and fast. Once ordered, the food came out within a reasonable time and all together for our table of 12. They have an impressive vegetarian menu upon request. Desserts were delicious. Very happy customer.
