The service here is far better than the food. The food was ok but not worth the high prices charged. The staff were very accommodating and extremely pleasant.

I had lunch at this place and I wish I wouldn't. I ordered a tagliatelle carbonara and the spaghetti was floating to a thick layer of cream full of fatty bacon.. Finally, the prices are ridiculously high for this terrible "food".

Staff pleasant, limited menu but reasonable selection, but food preparation quite dreadful for France. A starter of pate was served with toasted sliced white bread - and only toasted on one side!! Tried the steak - almost inedible. Meat was OK, but the preparation went horribly wrong. Rossini sauce was re-heated onion gravy.... and all topped with a greasy slice... More

I have been to France a half dozen times, in addition to many other countries, and this was one of the saddest excuses for food I have experienced in my travels. I ordered the steak tartar, one of my favorites, and was given plain meat with bottles of yellow mustard, ketchup, worsteshire sauce and some chopped up pickles on the... More

Tried this restaurant, as per Lonely Planet's recommendation and it did not disappoint. It's located in a quaint little plaza and offered 3 course options for 14 euros! I had the duck geisier with lardon salad, steak for main and pear/pistachio gelato for desert -- everything was excellent.

Very bad experience. My worst meal ever. Employees poorly prepared and totally uninterested in the opinion of the client. Place to avoid.

Keep walking. Menu selections are limited. Foods are okay. Service is crap. Wine list is wrong/misleading. L'Ombriere next door is better.

When we arrived in Bourdeaux we were extremely excited at the prospect of world class cuisine and culinary excellence this hope was, however, shattered by the one and only Chez Edouard. Where to begin? We sat down in a hugely busy restaurant after our, on reflection somewhat out-of-sync, friend recommended it to us. It started well. We saw a highly... More

We love the square and we arrived at the restaurant at 6.40pm. Got an aperitif to start with which arrived promptly. We were the first to be sat. The waiter took our full order, including dessert. We chose the 14.50€ menus and were disappointed by the meagre salade landaise (croutons from supermarket and basic salad), salmon was good but rare... More

We visited this restaurant on our night in Bordeaux. This restaurant offers good value 3 course menus from as little as 13-14 euros, with a good choice to choose from. Food is of a good quality and a perfect place to spend a lovely summer evening.
