This resturant has closed. The property bought by Brunning and Price, renamed The Bulls Head and is a superb gastro pub.

Nice atmosphere and good food enjoyed as part of a large group for Xmas meal and evening. Excellent customer service and made a change from the norm - one or two locals spotted too!

I eat here often, one of my local haunts while I lived in the area but moved away in 2010. Great service, great kitchen and very friendly waiters. Even when I order off the menu they remain friendly and happy, quick with service and always with a smile. I love this place!

We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening, with our two-year-old, and enjoyed a truly fantastic meal. We have eaten there several times before, and sampled some excellent pizza and pasta dishes, but this time we went for fish (sea bass and halibut). It was cooked to perfection and definitely lived up to expectations. In terms of taste, quality and... More

A group of 10 of us booked in here for our Christmas meal last night. We were asked to pay £10 per head deposit and pre-order the meals last week. However, when we arrived the staff seemed surprised to see us, and once we were at the table, started taking food orders again until we informed them we had pre-ordered.... More

We visit Osteria regularly. The food is excellent and plentiful, the fish and steak particularly good. All the staff and management are so enthusiastic and friendly, they can't do enough for you. Highly recommended for genuine Italian food & wine in a great designer rustic setting.

Visted last week - the usual excellent high standard. It was a last minute decision to go out on a Monday night. The Car Park was heaving, oh we thought, the restaurant must be full, to our delight it wasnt, there was a private party upstairs. The party didnt interfer with us or with the kitchen. The food was as... More

What a gem! We went for a last minute dinner and were so pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent we had calamari followed by the chateaubriand. All was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming and the service was impeccable. We will definitely return.
