This family owned coffee roasters and cafe is unrivalled on Vancouver Island. All the delicious food is home made and the coffee is roasted on site. A wonderful welcoming feeling awaits you. For a real taste treat, try the coconut brioche. You won't be sorry.

A wonderful place for coffee or lunch!! Atmosphere could be cozier, the chai tea latte makes up for it though.

Just off the highway in Cobble Hill, this coffee shop serves lattes the way they should be served: hot, milky, with wonderful espresso shots, and best of all in a big mug. And to have the coconut brioche along side makes this one of the great treats on southern Vancouver Island.

We do not live in Cobble Hill but always make a point of stopping at drumroaster if we are anywhere near. This little business has been built up by the family, and the owner really does know the coffee business. The roast on site so freshness is assured. The baked goods are outstanding, the cranberry/orange cookies may be the best... More

I will admit - we are coffee freaks. We do not drink more than two cups per day so we count on those cups to be rich, smooth and full of flavour. We travel a great deal and the standard we use to rate coffee is Drumroaster. This past month we have been in three different European countries and we... More

These folks run an excellent coffee shop along with being a major roasting operation. Hard to find coffee this good in a small market area

A coffee shop with a great blend of European and American West Coast styles, slightly hidden behind Country Grocer. They roast their own beans and sell coffee machines as well. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff - mostly members of the family that owns the place. I found it refreshing to find a place that has not been sold to the highest... More

Now this was a find. Even for someone who isn't in to coffee, which I am not, I still managed to find a suitable beverage. It was quiet and relaxed inside, which was an added bonus for me, as I hate to be rushed. We opted to share a Panini and an orange-coconut brioche. They were excellent, the brioche in... More

Drumsroasters--it says it all. Coffee ground on the premises and served in a huge variety of styles and an excellent selection of snacks and sweet treats.

There are some edibles (and pretty good ones at that) and a few fresh sandwiches but this place is all about coffee. Geir and family started Serious Coffee and sold it off and ... well, this is their latest iteration of excellent Vancouver Island coffee and Carsen is coming into his own. It's never ever a rush-busy-chaos coffee-chain situation so... More
