Farmland fun

This sprawling rural Cidery property is a super place to stop for a tour, tasting, or (my favorite) Saturday night pizza dinners made fresh in their outdoor cobb oven. Fun for the kids is the "fairy walk" tour.

Visiting from Scotland and my cousin Ian MacPhee took me here as I'd previously never been out of Victoria. It was scorching hot and we sat on the terrace. I had the Merridale Burger and it was delicious! Mmmmmmmhmmmmm! The service was great. Ian had the Ploughman's Platter and asked what drink would go best with that. Oh I wish... More

Food is excellent but the cider, whisky and gin make this a great stop. Also tours of the Cidery and the property plus sampling.

Love this place! Gotta check it out, fabulous west coast designed structures house this hoppin' place. The open-air portion of the restaurant is a lively setting and the indoor more suitable for the romantic or quaint dinner party. The store sells all kinds of goodies, artisan offerings, foodie stuff, etc., along with their infamous cider. Christmas is one of our... More

Have been on multiple occasions. Great venue for orchard side dining. Service is inconsistent as is the food. Some dishes come quite differently prepared depending on the day and presentation can be quite poor. Overall price points are too high for what you get ie, chicken pie and small salad for 15 dollars. On the positive side some days food... More

This is a great family friendly drinks and food place to make a stop at. Even if you are not into the cider tasting, they also have spirits and a great restaurant. We had to wait quite a while to get in but the food was well worth it especially the chicken pot pie and the apple pie. The restaurant... More

After talking with one of the cidery's owners, I had to take a second to give a thumbs up to Merridale. She was mentioning the power a single negative review on Trip Advisor can carry. Well, here's a positive review to let the owner know they're doing everything right at Merridale. It's a chance to tour the estate to see... More

Fantastic location! Undoubtedly the best apple cider I've ever had. Wandering the grounds was most enjoyable. We had lunch there. My companions had the Mac and cheese which they declared to be excellent. I had the breakfast pizza ...pizza with sausage, onion, potato and a fried egg in top. Unique and not bad at all. My only criticism was that... More

Merridale Cider is a hidden gem. The grounds and walking trail are beautiful, and lunch very tasty. Loved sitting in the restaurant with their large windows open, a relaxing breeze blowing and overlooking the orchard.
