Growing up around the area, my family and friends have gone to Merridale a number of times for cider tastings or a bite to eat. If you're visiting the Island, or live on the Island, this place is a must see! I love their cider and often take advantage of the growler refills, which make wonderful hostess gifts. Their Sunday... My husband and I were in the area and were inclined to go to Cowich Bay for seafood but spoke to someone at a winery who highly recommended this place. THANK YOU!!! GO! What a setting (don't miss the fairy walk!). I have written and asked for the recipe for the confit chicken wings with butter/chili sauce! This is a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Merridale Ciderworks. The property is majestic, the cider is fabulous and we shared 3 different pizzas and were beyond thrilled! I would recommend the chicken/apple/Brie pizza. They even do gluten free! This place is a must see!

If you are visiting the Island, or live on the Island, this is a must see. I love the cider, as it is all natural, (no preservatives or added sugar). I have been buying growlers as hostess gifts, which have been a huge hit. I love the apple/chicken/Brie pizza, but the other choices are tasty too. The merridale greens salad... More

Their menu is limited in choices I would enjoy. Broiled Brussel Sprouts is one I would not choose. They do have a fish and chips and a burger, plus expense personal pizzas with very little on them. I choose a salad which was oily lettuce leaves with a dab of feta cheese, candied walnuts with 1/3 of the lettuce leaves rotting.... More

I wanted to visit a ciderery and sample different types of ciders. I chose Merridale because I heard they had a restaurant. The location was beautiful and the ciderery was interesting. I had lunch at the restaurant and could order a sampler of their ciders (6 shot glasses of very different styles of ciders). That was really great. (I bought... More

We returned to Merridale Cider last Sunday to take in another one of their famous Pizza Nights. There's a great atmosphere at Merridale, the entertainment we've heard has been very good, and the pizzas are great. Very different from your "standard" pizzas, Mine was a chicken/apple/brie combination which I really enjoyed. The staff is friendly and I would certainly recommend... More

This property is so unique, worth the visit. The shop is charming with take home baked goods and delicacies. The restaurant is rustic and casual, so when friends suggested visiting, I decided to give Merridale a second chance after a disappointing meal once before. Our group of six had fish and chips: more like cod fritters with very little fish,... More
