Amazing place! A genuine old fort. Absolutely beautiful however the restaurant was quite small. The food was cooked to perfection! The 14oz steak was absolutely amazing, mouth watering. Little bit pricey but not unreasonable for a treat. Sea food pasta was also lovely. Everything was beautifully presented.

Terrible service, very odd (and limited) menu set up, and ran out of most desserts (and food, or so it seemed!)

We stopped over night at Shannonbridge while cruising on the Shannon. We decided to have an evening meal at The Fort. We were shown upstairs to the restaurant by a pleasant young man. The setting was very nice overlooking the Shannon. We were looking forward to a meal that would be fitting for its surroundings! We found the a la... More

I firmly believe that the customer comes first and that customer service is vital, so it saddens me to hear that one of my... More
