Great food and location

We was recommended this place by a friend of mine who lives on the island and it didn't disappoint. Really great location right by the sea and it wasn't packed with tourists. Just a sprinkle here and there but It was a lunchtime. Plus locals were eating here which is always a good sign. Jumbo king... read more

Third time in Phuket and third time having a meal here and found it is getting worse. Portion was smaller, price was higher, service was not as good as it had been, food was less delicious. A bit disappointed to me!

Simple decor with the nice sea-side views and I am always trying to get here by 5:30 to beat the crowd and catch some nice sunset ambiance. There are 2 Kang Eng's. Kang Eng @ Pier and then this Kang Eng 2 just a few minutes away. I find the prices and food a little better here over-all. As I... More

Good setting. Big beers (hard to come by in Thailand). Good distinctly average but the service from our friendly waiter made up.

The quality of the food was so bad. The fish was fried into dust. The lobster had definetely been frozen. The steamed fish tasted of river carbage. Eeeeeew!

One of the best and fines seafood restaurant in Phuket. My family and I felled on love with the fresh and testy foods. Will visit it again definitely. Highly recommended.

The Thai seafood cuisine is overall good and quite spicy. The setting by the sea is pleasant and the service quite attentive. Prices slightly above average, but if you select lobster, mud crabs or large shrimp/tiger prawns expensive! Simple, plain wooden tables without any decor whatsoever, unless you ask specifically beforehand and make previous reservations. Many Thais come to this... More

This is our 2nd time here in 6 months and nothing has changed. Has lovely food, friendly staff and a beautiful setting looking out at the pier and boats etc. Very quiet as it was only 5pm and vegetarian festival is on so everyone is fairly quiet for these 9 days therefore the service was fairly prompt. Love the fried... More

Food - It was absolutely delicious. I had sea cicadas, Sea bass whole fish and squids. Everything was perfectly made as per our instructions and was fresh Service - We were seated immediately. Even though we were early for lunch (around 12:30 pm) and it wasn't crowded at all, we had to wait for 10 minutes for a service person... More

An unpretious beach-side restaurant with a wide choice of dishes on their menu. Also, regularly frequented by Thai clientele which is always a sign that the Thai food is good. Table setting is very simple bamboo furniture with no extras or decor, all very simple. Atmosphere is pleasant outdoors (no aircondition) except the occasional very unpleasant stench coming from waste... More
