Outstanding

This was our first time to this resturant even though we had always heard good things about it and we kept saying we must visit. On arrival we were greated by a very friendly waitress who took our name and showed us to a seating area where we would peruse the menu and order a drink. The waitress... read more

Stayed here with some friends on a cycling holiday. Would highly recommend it. Food was excellent and rooms comfortable. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Went for meal & B&B recently. Food very good for evening meal, no problem having one of the starters as a main. Pigeon & beef mains both very good. Desserts also very impressive. Petit Fours were a bit OTT, nice chocolates would have been less fussy & better I think. Room itself was good, though lacking a few touches. Breakfast... More

Eight of us mature and hungry golfers were treated to a first class meal in wonderfully quaint surroundings recently. Most of the party were experienced international travellers and very au fait with "the best of food" and all of them described the food and the service as wonderfull. There was some complaints enroute about the distance from our hotel but once we... This review is not an east one to write. I want to give this place 5 stars. They try so hard. The staff are very well trained and obviously have standard procedures drilled into them. Polite and hard working, always smiling. So is the food - obviously a product of hard work and care. And there lies the one of... More

I have been to the The Olde Post Inn many times, mostly for special occasions, and I have to say the standard of food, service and surroundings is without compare. The food is consistently delicious! I have also been to a wedding at The Olde Post Inn and it was the most magical experience. It is truly a hidden gem,... More

Needed something a bit special to celebrate our friends from England 25th wedding anniversary, The Olde Post ticked all the boxes, lovely welcome from the staff, lovely relaxing atmosphere, and best of all really excellent food. Thank you Olde Post, we will be back.

We visited the Olde Post Inn during July and thoroughly enjoyed the whole occasion. It can never claim to be inexpensive but the cost is worth every cent! We were made very welcome on arrival and presented with an relatively small menu which was, obviously, carefully compiled to offer a wide selection of dishes. Our starters were demolished with much... More

I rarely use the word "wow" as it's a word teenagers love to use but this place made me gush like a kid! I loved it! Great food, wonderful service! It's the epitome of what a good restaurant should be; simply good food with no frills or pretentions! I will be back!
