Enjoyable family dinner

I have visited this place numerous times for dinner, it had absolutely lovely food. I live over the other side of the city but I feel it is worth the journey as it is always enjoyable. The staff are nice and always on the ball with your order. The food is not too pricey and it is right next to... read more

Myself and my family ate her on 2 occasions. It had been recommended to us by the owner of the b&b we were staying at. The food was lovely, it came out quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed it, that much so we went back the next evening. The same lady served us both times and she was brilliant. She was... More

Food good noting amazing but after all it's is pub grub ! Service good but for where it is bit overpriced ! Good pub grub would... More

Very charming pub/restaurant close to Rush harbour (funnily enough). Friendly staff, a varied menu which champions local produce and the best wings I've had in Ireland. Taste-wise they're much the same as any you'll buy (I'm fairly sure there's a standard buffalo-style sauce out there that folk just add butter too, as the international consistency is too coincidental), but they... This is what you want from an Irish pub/restuarant experience. Called ahead to get a cozy seat by the fire. The bar area was lively with locals coming in for a pint or two before moving into the dining room. Traditional pub food BUT with high quality, local ingredients. The menu lists where the food comes from including fish from... More

You'll see that I have reviewed the Harbour Bar in the past. While I initially was a little disappointed on our first visit, it has not tarnished our thoughts on The Harbour Bar at all. I'm now a regular visitor. We go for the food for sure. It is consistently excellent. The young people who serve the tables are all... More

I have been to the Harbour Bar now on numerous occasions. Each time the service and food has been exceptional. My only fault would be is that I had the cottage pie which was on the specials board on the August Bank Holiday Sunday. I wish this was put on the menu permanently. Can't wait to have this again.

Before our trip to Ireland 10/1-10/14, I read a review on Harbour Bar so we stayed in Rush and decided to try it. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, large portions and the staff and owner very friendly. During our stay, we ate at the Harbour Bar 3 times. Cannot not say enough about the fish pie, monk fish... More
