Stopped in here for lunch after walking the dogs on the beach, was expecting the usual fare but was blown away by the standard of the food, the seafood here is excellent. Quite simply the best bar food I have ever had and would put a lot of so called high end restaurants to shame. Highly recommended.

I Visited Ireland from Overseas, My first time visiting Rush so we decided to go to Harbour Bar as reviews seemed to be positive. We went into the restaurant there were 4 of us in total, I noticed the kitchen staff were drinking on the Job,Now this is around 3-4 in the afternoon. The manager did not seem to do... More

I have never responded to a review before, but really feel that this review warrants a responce, firstly my staff do not drink on duty, and there was three people in your company and you left around 5 o clock and returned after 10 o clock, the forth member of your company was very drunk and all my staff rightly will not... Visited Rush today and popped into the Harbour Bar for dinner. I had the scampi which was fantastic - so fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly - I would recommend to all and look forward to returning soon.

Spent the day here while travelling around the area on a mini break. Had the mussels and prawn cocktail both very fresh and tasty. Followed that up with two cooked to perfection steaks. Will definitely be back for a repeat performance when in the area cool spot !!!!

Myself and my boyfriend came here for Sunday lunch. At first we were impressed. We were served quickly and told the specials. It all fell apart when our food came. Not one, not twice but three times I had to send my lasagne back because it was cold. At the end of our meal when we were paying nothing was... More

Friendly establishment, busy on the Sunday night but still managed to get a table, place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Quiet on the Monday night. Yes we went twice - says it all. Delicious sticky toffee pudding!! Fish and chips were yummy too! Good helpings. My only complaint is that the ladies toilets let it down. Fusty... More

This place has solid Irish pub food and is full of friendly locals. The "lounge" side is more tame and family friendly. The "bar" side is a little more lively and you will likely be chatted up by a local.

I had the seafood pie, absolutely delicious, all fresh ingredients, very filling and good value. The sticky toffee pudding dessert was delicious too, lovely and moist and not too heavy. Can't recommend the place highly enough, the food is always spot on.

Having lived in Rush for a number of years this used to be a favourite place of mine. Never once did I walk home disappointed by the food. Whoever the chef is, he sure knows how to cook fish and there is usuallly a great variety of fish menus to chose from depending on the catch of the day. The... More
