Wonderful Experience

My wife and I went to Aracibo in search of Ceti Mofongo, and were unfortunately disappointed. Not because the food wasn't excellent, but because they didn't have it as the season hasn't started yet. So instead we "settled" for the paella and were very happy. Couple that with a couple of passion... read more

I was expecting better food lobster and langostinos over cooked. Langostinos termidor harly any cheese and no flavor. The chef needs a class on plting his food, what a pitty i was really expecting better. Thats why our turisim is in so bad shape , theres nothing to ofer here thats worth our wild. Not coming back to pricy for... More

I had the pleasure to dine at Salitre by ramdom chance on a day road trip to Arecibo roughly a month or so ago. I sat outside on the patio and had an early dinner/ late lunch. I had a perfectly made pina colada to start and then ordered the ahi tuna sashimi in ponzu sauce which was locally caught... More

I took my friends who were here on vac. We were told that many people liked this place after they went to La Cueva del Indio (Great place). We arrived and loved the scenery. But sad to say that the food was really bad. I have been to many restaurants in the island and this by far is the worst.... More

I had been to another restaurant close by and had to ask for service and still did not get service, so I walked out, ending up in Salitre Meson Costero. Wow the service was super great and fast. The Sparkling Wine was cold and good. For main course I had Halibut with Mashed Puertorrican "yautia" . It was delicious. It... More

The place is a bit off the beaten path, just past the Arecibo Lighthouse. It looks more like a marina bait and tackle shop, and I guess was the feeling they want to capture. The venue has an aseptic look, with low cost furniture and decorations. The hostess was very friendly and prompt. The choices are, either indoors where it's... More

Food was really good. Service was excellent. The portions are enough for an adult and price was good. No need for reservations, valet parking available, but there's enough self parking. Casual, jeans or shorts are ok.

Great and delicious portorican food, totally yummy!!! Right on the beach, it has inside w/ air condition and outside, clean, friendly and relaxed. It is a spot for locals, nothing fancy but with great seafood, the mofongo , typical portorican mashed plantain dish was really well made and I ordered it with seafood, that made it awesome!!! The paella is... More

We love seafood, and I went there on my birthday to eat, the lobster was amazing, so was the mimosas and mojitos. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the experience.
