Nice Views of the Ocean & Domes Surfing Beach

Go for a nice walk & views. See whales sometimes between Jan. and March. This lighthouse park sticks out on a rocky point into the ocean, and has views of the south, west, & north. Great photo ops.

Definitely recommend. I stopped at this place a while back with all my family while on vacation, including kids and grand-kids (14 in total). We found them by chance, as it was a holiday and we were all hungry. Everyone else was full. When we went in, the place left a lot to be said. Repairs were definitely needed. But... More

For 3 consecutive days I visit the restaurant. The quality of the food is good and the service. I recomend the orange salmon and flan. On Monday they have an excellent sancocho.

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the service and signage are just "ok". Missed it the first time, no real menus but a sign up on the wall. Yellow building on the land (not ocean) side of the street. Good was AMAZING!! From entree to dessert and coffee, no complaints here! Would definitely return and recommend to... More

My husband and I have been looking for a good local restaurant in Arecibo and we believe we have found it. Kind of small, quaint looking on the outside and you may possibly pass it by if you are not paying attention. Once inside you are immediately greeted. Decor is simple and charming with a nice ocean breeze flowing throughout... More

This isn't a tourist restaurant. In fact, it's one of the few places I visited as a tourist in Puerto Rico where English wasn't spoken. But the food is delicious, the service is delivered with care. If you end up in the city of Arecibo, it is worth a stop.

This is a family owned restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (althoug they close early around 6PM). The "El Farol" used to be owned by a Spanish-Cuban family that had a diner named "Pickin Chicken" there (now El Farol) and a restaurant then called El Farol. So the El Farol is familiar name for the last 40 years. It... More
