Disappointing tapas, 2 and a half stars

We had a range of food from the tapas menu, choosing 4 dishes which we hoped would make a sufficient meal. Our first, the chilli con q-something (I forget the name) was amazing! Not a typical chilli, more of a chilli dip served with hot tortillas. Started off great, such a tasty dish. Second out... read more

The Mango Tree Cafe offers nicely prepared, filling and tasty food at a good price. We chose to have breakfast here 4 days in a row, waking up before surfing with coffee, muesli and reggae. We also had a great dinner here. The staff is smiley and work hard, as we always saw the same faces whether morning or night.... More

The Cashew Tree is a perfect piece of Bali where you can escape the heat in one the pavilions and enjoy a cold nourishing fruit smoothie. The food was fresh and had plenty of gaiety and flavour. Definitely a great spot for lunch.

Really cool little place which is nice in the day for coffee and hanging out and a very pretty evening spot for dinner. The food was really nice, and it was really good that you could offer from the very extensive breakfast menu at any time of the day - I had a yummy beans and rice thing in the... More

With two weeks of caffeine deprivation we found Mango Tree across the road from our hotel which offered delicious coffee. The service was average but the coffee tasted good and its a comfy place to sit and relax.

You should combine soup, hot, sweet, sour, stir-fried, curry, etc. eating one spoon of each at a time, interspersed with a spoon of fragrant jasmine rice

They were out of more than half the food on the menu, including...Mangoes, but the food I ordered was tasty; however, the staff was rude. Really rude. I ate there twice and both times, the waitress and the guy behind the counter were, at best, apathetic, but sometimes they were nasty.
