Great Coffee near Padang Beach!

With two weeks of caffeine deprivation we found Mango Tree across the road from our hotel which offered delicious coffee. The service was average but the coffee tasted good and its a comfy place to sit and relax.

You should combine soup, hot, sweet, sour, stir-fried, curry, etc. eating one spoon of each at a time, interspersed with a spoon of fragrant jasmine rice

They were out of more than half the food on the menu, including...Mangoes, but the food I ordered was tasty; however, the staff was rude. Really rude. I ate there twice and both times, the waitress and the guy behind the counter were, at best, apathetic, but sometimes they were nasty.

Hi Kymba, I'm sorry that you felt that the staff were rude, even nasty to you. Our staff are usually very friendly and helpful. Please come in and discuss this with me so that we can resolve this issue. Thanks, Maria More

After placing your order, once the waitress might have seen you... Amongst the other two customers... Expect the unexpected... Meaning that your coffe late will get to you in about 20 mins and your food.... Well I stood up after 45 mins to check if the salad - yes, a simple salad - was getting prepared and it was not,... Dear Blaise, Your review does not make any sense to me. If there was only one other table, your coffee would have arrived in 2 minutes and your salad would have arrived in 5 minutes. The only thing that makes any sense to me is that your sense of time is greatly distorted or that you are acting on behalf... More

This place is appealing from the outside, with its nice little terrace and trees. Sadly the service is the opposite - the angry / bored staff cannot be bothered, and they much prefer sit down and chat than take your order or simply prepare it. Had to wait more than 45 minutes to get a salad - and when I... More

The worst restaurant I have eaten from since I have been in Bali (5 weeks). I ordered a take away chicken mango salad. The chicken was chewy to the point of spitting it out, the mango was just about in there and then lastly there was tasteless lettuce leaves soaked in huge amounts of oil. All this for 65.000. No... Hi Jonaust, Our chicken mayo salad is a big favourite at our cafe and most people love it. I'm sorry that you found it disappointing. I can see that you should have been supplied the dressing separately for a takeaway so that it did not oversaturate the fresh baby spinach leaves. Generally our salads tend to err on the side... Head over to this local haunt of tourists and surfers. Owned by an Aussie big wave surfer, it is as close as it gets to a US diner or Aussie breaky place. Serving healthy smoothies, and breakfast favourites. Great coffee too!

This place was located right next I my hotel- lucky me! The coffee is out of this world, juices fresh and delicious, and they have a juicer:) The staff is lovely and very friendly and smiling. The breakfast looks great, but I didn't try it yet and the cakes are amazing- best banana bread in Bali. If you are in... More

We are here recently for breakfast lunch and dinner. The meals were ok decent sized and well priced however I enjoyed the coffee the most possibly the best on the Bukit. Friendly enough service and nice atmosphere.
