Description: OUR ROOTS Established December 2002 in the popular Seminyak area of Bali...
OUR ROOTS Established December 2002 in the popular Seminyak area of Bali, Trattoria has become known to ex pats, tourists and locals as the original home style Italian restaurant. Serving award winning authentic Italian cuisine and pizza at an unbeatable value. Created and owned by Edoardo Guerrrini and Executive Chef Olivari Vanni, the two partners have taken what they've learned growing up in Italy and New York City and established what is now a staple throughout Indonesia. Their secret ingredient - authenticity, simplicity, quality imported ingredients, great service and value. Since opening, Trattoria has been a vanguard in the Seminyak area, having been the second restaurant established on Jl. Oberoi, today the restaurant still sits among the elite on the main street known as "Eat Street." With an unpretentious ambiance, home made pastas, breads, desserts, and friendly service, Trattoria truly lives up to its reputation as an informal restaurant serving simple Italian dishes.

Great photo. Friendly staff. Fabulous food.

Slighlty more expensive than other restaurants in the area but the food is good. Great menu. Obviously mostly Italian but some Indonesian options too. Slighlty more expensive than other restaurants in the area but the food is good. Great menu. Obviously mostly Italian but some Indonesian options too. Surprisingly good italian food for being in bali, we had pizza, which was both real good, not as in good as in Europe, but still good. Has a good selection of wines, pricey of course, but sometimes its nice to have something else then balinese wine to choose from.

We ordered a pizza with arugula and cheese as well as a seafood risotto. Both was really tasty and the service was also good. Recommend if you would like to try something non Indonesian.

The restaurant has an extensive menu with the main emphasis on Italian food. This was so far our priciest dinner however there was fast and attentive service and the food we had was very good (taste and quality) - therefore in my opinion justified slightly higher prices. Also a plus: free bruschetta starter.

On the road leading to Padang Padang surf beach and quite unexpected. I think the restaurant is part of a budget hotel next to it. Very pleasant and casual. Service is friendly albeit slow. Staff struggled a little with instructions in English but eventually got things going. They have a very extensive menu and the food, is surprisingly authentic and... More

After booking two nights in the adjoining hotel I decided to have lunch here. As it often happens in Bali the credit card machine didn't work after several attempts. I offered that we would resolve the issue later in the day if they wanted to hold my card. I then came back for dinner and asked them to try the... More

Good afternoon Brian, Thank you for your review. Although this is by far a normal occurrence and the last thing I try to do is point blame, maybe it is important to state that stolen credit card use and unpaid dinners happens quite often. In fact, Indonesia is one of the highest credit card fraud regions in the world. It... More

We went for dinner twice at Trattoria. It's a big, open and clean restaurant with good food across the menu. They have decent sushi too. The staff is relaxed and attentive, and you will receive two welcome starters when you sit down. Always a nice way to begin dinner! Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I were staying at Pinkcoco which is built in with Trattoria. We've had lunch there everyday we've been staying at Pinkcoco, had breakfast and nearly every dinner. It is a little bit more expensive than what we wanted to pay, but ever since we ate there for the first time we don't mind!! You get free starters... More
